  • Holy crap I thought Scott Carne was hot in this video and looking at it 20+ years later he still is!!!!

  • can we see 'say ity' revolution love''out of control, please?

  • Bloody hell he could move! The 80's were the best decade of music to date and in my books, always will be- I'm having an 80's themed 40th (2014) and KITK will be pumping all night long! Scott still kicks ass live and I was fortunate enough to meet him on the weekend- there, I've achieved another of my life-long goals! Still very surreal that I actually met him, woke up on Saturday morning and wondered if I'd dreamt it. What an influence he and KITK have had upon my life...all emotional now...

  • Scott had the cool had the cool hair happening!

  • I was in love withScott Carne in 1984, I was 10! Ha ha! He was sooo hot! What a spunk! I was in the KITK fanclub! Used to love watching him bounce around to his songs! I still love their music and play it in the car all the time. Current Stand is one of my all-time faves! Such an emotion-stirring song. He's playing at the club I work at tomorrow night and I'll get paid to watch the show! Yee ha! Oh I miss the 80's- bad fashion, bad hair, awesome music! Bring it baaaaaack!

  • aussie 80's music fans scott carne (lead singer) of kids in the kitchen added me today .. i almost fell off my chair wayyy to cool .. he is on facebook now ADD HIM !!!! and the details of where they are performing is on his wall !!

  • HEY peeps Scott Carne is on facebook .. look him up . ( the lead singer ) !!!!!!!

  • SEXY AUSSIE BOYS !!!

  • I still love it x

  • When I was DJing I used to back announce this band as "Kids in the Kitchen and Adults in the bedroom" Ahh memories.

  • got the crazy eyes happening :)

  • Ah yes see the Aus synth the Fairlight , cost about $40,000+ back in 1985, as used by Duran and the Pet Shop Boys.

  • @Whitelight786 you know your synths

  • @Lordtrouser , I would love a Roland Jupiter 8, see Nick Rhodes uses the Roland V synth these days.Expect most people have moved on to music computers these days. Check out records mixed by Perfecto, i would like to know how they create those sounds.

  • hi all any ideas guys where i might find shine & terrain on cd ive been searching, thanks & cheers, KITK were great saw them many times live ! :)

  • @neonjunglejumper Scotts still keeping the music alive, think i might hire his band for my 40th birthday party.

  • thought current stand was the best ever really..

  • Takes me back to the best music ever....OZ music was on fire back then !!!!!

  • I LOVE it xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • these guys were so good pity they never had a better song than change in mood..stil they are the best

  • HAAA I used to have a major crush on Scott.

  • GAWD YES!

    KILLS ME EVERYTIME!

Thank goodness that bands like Pseudo Echo, Kids In The Kitchen and I'm Talking took away the typical OZ Bogan movement!

  • First band I ever saw live, aged 12 in 1985 - they played a gig at my outer-eastern suburbs Melbourne high school. SUCH a great show!

    Can't believe it's been 25 years...

  • Fantastic debut album, every song is a good one.

  • dosent matter they where still pretty big in oz and os.plus that was the scene then just like the way all you guys wear your jocks higher than your jeans that is one for the ages LOL.

  • So bad! Don't you get the impression that the lead singer's dancing a little too hard? I doubt the music was lifting that response out of him! The production quality's pretty crap too, in retrospect... Ah, Kid's In The Kitchen...

  • pff....first they ripped guitar riffs from u2, second the lead singer sings just like midge ure (ultravox) and now he dances just like simon lebon from duran duran.......gosh.....do they have something original!????

  • LOL Everyone danced like Simon Le Bon in the 80's. Gosh!

  • @alanwildergore Awww, isn't 99% of pop music imitative of previous musicians, anyway?

  • I just discovered this song. I wish this band had gotten some airplay over here in the USA.

  • Australias' Duran Duran.

  • @cosmicnights amen

  • i had such a crush on scott as a teenager

  • God I remember this. Their grooves and melody lines where quite different to lot of the New Romantic stuff that was coming out in the 80's. It was different and really cool. Loved his voice. The drummer and the bass player worked really well together to set down a real solid groove. Love their stuff.

  • I saw these guys live at the Bankstown RSL. I thought they were great live even though I did not know many of their song.

  • That guy is not the best dancer.....and....do his eyes look a bit dilated? hmm? Wonderful song!

  • Never heard this song before......so great!

  • used to see these guys every weekend way back when!

  • The album that this song is on should be re released, for gen Xers who liked this stuff.
