I was born with Cerebral Palsy and they told my mother I would never walk or talk. She fought for me and with me and I graduated from high school with above average in everything but math. The math was average. I now have a job and I can cook,clean,take care of myself and I love to walk and I never stop talking. The best way to get kids to excel is to tell them can and never forbid them from trying just cause they may fail the first few times.

Everyone it's the feeling in your body when your in a wheelchair, in 2009 Jan, 18 i was in a sevire car accident i was rusted to the hospital.. same as my dad, i was in the OPraniton room when they had to move my bone back in place i was in the hospital for 3 weeks then the news came, the doctor said i would never beable to walk again, it was shoking to hear :( so you guys careful Be safe .... this car accident could of toke my life :( i still thank god everynight for saving my life :)

I bet she is smart! I love how people think that just because you have a disability you are stupid. I went all though school not even being in one special class and I graduate on national honors society. Guess I had to prove them wrong!

Well i despise austistics ( a specific disibilities) on the internet they boast commenting " oh I am smarter than people think" while this comment is true, they single out all the " normal " people into thinking they are some form of a dumbass. Idk about you, however the autistics I see in my school are the biggest assholes with the incompetence of a fish, if not less. I get in trouble if they steal my lunch, " accidentally " punch me and I retaliate, and if I yell at them

Wow, I was just typing in my daughters name, "Hailey" and found your little girl. My daughter was born 16 weeks premature and has Cerebral Palsy. She is now 10 years old and in a public school. They do a lot of therepy and work with her alot. I have two other children at home, so homeschooling wasn't much of an option, but I commend you for doing this. My daughter has made a lot of friends with little girls that over look her disabilities. Your daughter is beautiful. May God bless you!

My daughter has Cerebral Palsy and is 10 years old. We put her in a playgroup at 3 years old, to let her get used to being around children like her, and now she cries if there is no school, she has made a lot of friends at her school who don't judge her. She is very happy and innocent to the world. God has given her a beautiful gift none of us can ever imagine. She has touched many lives. Being a parent of a child w/ disabilities can be hard, but I know having a child period is difficult. :)
