extremists are ridiculous....theres no reason they cant look at both sides...and religion has killed more ppl than ne other idea...there is no need for religion..there is no need for god...it is a mostly made up story to persuade ppl to agree on basic principles(laws)...the government sets laws up based on what the ppl agree...that is the idea....but religion just sets rules without consent of ne one else...that is the factor that causes problems
Look, that's not fair at all. Most religions in human history (and much of early & modern Christianity, I might add) either said that the Gods don't care too much about your sex life, or said that sex between consenting people in love is holy & sacred. Just because fundamentalist Christians who cherry-pick homophobic bits from the Bible become violent doesn't mean that all religions are so.
