@madzndean the original message of Christ was Universal Salvation [salve = healing, soothing wounds, ointment] and that each abides and's in the midst of the divine. The name Jesus/ Yeshua means "Healer" and Christ means messiah or guide. Universal Salvation means all originate from and belong to divinity and shall heal/ be redeemed/ reconciled to salvation. Being submitted to a god is being a slave, is putting a set of rules over your own reasoning.

Back then people would not only prevent people from spreading the "anti-God" message but murder others who did not believe or believed in other things. They were savages(and still are), afraid of people who believe in themselves. The religious authorities were the first ones to initiate violence against non-believers.

@asperin I understand your views and i respect them. But the problem i have is people associating God with Organized Religion. God is the message of love and fulfillment, and God sent his son to put out an example for us. Simple enough. While on the other hand, organized religion is a hussle, a money making machine that prays on would-be-followers of this message and bash their brains against a pillar of suppression and yes they killed many people as well.
