I love the wayne brothers the dance spoof movies are gr8 i have watched dance flick loads of times and i am getting it on dvd.I loved the part where they was ballet dancing and invading space i laughed so much that my mum thought i had something wrong.And i liked it when she put the baby in the locker and and when they gave the girl a total makeover!!!

I just recently watched this movie. It was AWFUL. Maybe it was becuase I had high expectations for it. I wanted it to be very humorous. There were a few funny moments here and there but overrall it was a bore! Really, the movie was not good at all. The only parts I really remember were Ms. Cameltoe. The rest was exactly what all my friends told me it'd be. Just another stupid spoof movie. I feel bad for anyone else who spent good money on that movie...It sucks.

Something tells me the people she interviewed were indicative of who was actually in the theater. As someone a few posts earlier noted, there WAS a particular audience targeted for this movie, and there's nothing wrong with that.

It's beyond her power who watches a movie. She can't make 60-year old Asian women watch just to have a more diverse interview pool.

African Americans seem to be in a lot of the the interview segments. Maybe it just so happens they're presence is strong in the community near that theatre? And certain films, like this one, are obviously going to cater to their demographic.

Since there are over 2 million African Americans in NYC, and many more in the surrounding suburbs, logically there will be many African Americans on the program.

The interviews are fine. Although every person isn't automatically correct, a multi dimensional perspective & context helps in understanding. For example, a person riding train will have a different perspective than a person viewing a train. One will see the world at 120 miles an hour, the other will simply see a speeding train. If good people can "harmoniously" share their info, they can obtain a greater perspective from simply talking.

I haven't seen Dance Flick, but I have seen enough Wayans material to know what it'll be like. I liked the first Scary Movie, but they've become increasingly worse since then. You'd think these multi-millionaires would be able to swallow their resentment of white people by now, but no -- it persists. It's not satire, it's just accepted racism. I mean, White Chicks?! Pffft.

The Wayans are genius. They spawned the whole "spoof" concept. The only reason I think that you say you hate them is because of such crap as Meet the Spartans and Disaster Movies. Yeah, the first Scary Movie was classic and #2 was okay (although i did enjoy #3 the best). I do want to see Dance Flick, and it's okay that you don't. But don't ruin it for everyone else.

First of all, the Wayans family did not "spawn" the spoof movie. They go way back. Ever hear of Top Secret? Hot Shots? Hot Shots Part Deux? These are the 1980's and 90's films they're trying to emulate, only they're doing it poorly. They go back even further than those, by the way. Hell, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles -- these spoofed popular movie genres/conventions in the 70's.

Secondly? This Dance Flick movie will be crap.
