Finally in the end you feel the warmth it surrounds you with. Its exactly how the anime makes you feels also, making it impossible to forget.
@Etriusofthecastle I know what you mean and I just finished the anime and I cried in a way I had not before, Even if you are a dude It's still sad. After Nagisa's passing It was a kind of a bitter sweet kind of song. Some times I just start crying when I think about it or Nagisa.

@SilverLuna07 Clannad is 10x better in After Story than it is in the first part IMO, a lot more going on emotionall I guess is the easiest way to put it.
Clannad is a really sentimental anime and it really is capable of making the viewers shed tears. (even if you're a boy, like me) Therefore this might not be an anime for those not interested in that kind of stuff, but if you are, you just have to watch this anime. It's so amazing, cute, funny and sad. (though the sad parts are mostly in Clannad after story)
I think it deserves much more attention and recognition because it's truly a masterpiece in its genre.
If you haven't watch Clannad yet, YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT. It will bawls your eyes out and won't stop. I think this is the only anime that makes me cry the hardest, not even joking.

I'm sorry, even for Clanad and/or the Afterstory, it's hard for me to believe that there are over 79+ people who are 6'5 300 Pound football players who all cried due to it. (*funny joke*) Of course it was something that brought me to tears multiple times in the Afterstory.
Before I watched Clannad I had a friend who listened to this song all the time and I always said to her, that song is so dumb why do you listen to that? and she told me, if you watch Clannad you can't not love the song. Then I finally got around to watching Clannad, and now I tear up every time I hear this, now I love it too.
This anime (both 1st and 2nd season) made me cry several times. It's amazing. If you plan on watching this, make sure to watch Angel Beats and Kanon first, otherwise you'll find yourself comparing Clannad & Clannad Afterstory to them. AB & K are both great anime, and all three are in the fantasy genre, keep that in mind.

Clannad made me cryy too :( I always think of Clannad. I watched Clannad twice last year, but months apart, I think it's better to watch it every 2 years or so. I memorized all of it from the first time :S Weird.

Whenever I listen to this song I get filled with happiness even though I cannot be with my girlfriend anymore or have many friends. This song will make you so happy for ever, I am so grateful that Clannad was made so that I could watch something that I can cry to and let everything out =D
On the surface it seems just like a cute song, but it means so much more after watching the anime. This is pretty much Nagisa's theme, and the song makes me remember all of the experiences and hardships that she went through. Makes me cry a little, but in a good way.

Clannad made me cryy too :( I always think of Clannad. I watched Clannad twice last year, but months apart, I think it's better to watch it every 2 years or so. I memorized all of it from the first time :S Weird.

When i hear this because of Clannad, i feel sad like crying and im a male. When my friends hear it they think im gay...they need to watch to understand :D. Clannad after story made me cry like at least 6 times.

Males can cry as much as females as they want so the whole statement "and I'm a male." is pathetic. Grow up and realize this show is emotional to any "child" or adult that watches this.

Whenever I listen to this song I get filled with happiness even though I cannot be with my girlfriend anymore or have many friends. This song will make you so happy for ever, I am so grateful that Clannad was made so that I could watch something that I can cry to and let everything out =D

On the surface it seems just like a cute song, but it means so much more after watching the anime. This is pretty much Nagisa's theme, and the song makes me remember all of the experiences and hardships that she went through. Makes me cry a little, but in a good way.

@bloopy111 yea, it isnt fun not having friends you can relate to and talk about your favorite animes with. Fortunately for me i have a handful of friends that watch the same kinds of animes the i do. I wish you luck in finding those friends. And dont be afraid to ask around, most people are a little quiet when it comes to talking about anime. especially at school.
