This anime is one of my favorites. Although is a Shoujo, everyone should watch it, EVERYONE. No anime, or even better, no STORY has ever touched me so deeply as Clannad. An amazing beautiful story about life, about love, friendship. It has everything on it: Romance, drama (a lot), comedy, even fantasy and anger. But all of it in the perfect measure. there's this kid tomoya who runs into this girl named nagisa he starts helping her start up the drama club a lot more to it then that but that's the basic goal for a bit they help out other people along the way and

after story season 2 is basicly the after story which in my opinion is what makes the show a masterpiece

This song gives me chills when i listen to it. I really dont know why but the entire series was like that for me i loved it don't get me wrong, but it just made me almost cry. It is an amazing and emotional series that should be shown more because it teaches people who are in situations like that of have death in their lives that they can still find happiness in the end. I watched this anime series, the story was beautiful. And it made me realise what a terrible father and husband i became. The other day I sang this song to my daughter, and now she loves to sing it with me. She even sings it in her sleep. I put her second and work first, all she wanted was my attention. How stupid of me, but now that we spend every minute together, life has gotten better with her and the family. Clanad showed me something so simple yet so important. "Family means everything"

Clannad is a really sentimental anime and it really is capable of making the viewers shed tears. (even if you're a boy, like me) Therefore this might not be an anime for those not interested in that kind of stuff, but if you are, you just have to watch this anime. It's so amazing, cute, funny and sad. (though the sad parts are mostly in Clannad after story)

I think it deserves much more attention and recognition because it's truly a masterpiece in its genre.

This anime (both 1st and 2nd season) made me cry several times. It's amazing. If you plan on watching this, make sure to watch Angel Beats and Kanon first, otherwise you'll find yourself comparing Clannad & Clannad Afterstory to them. AB & K are both great anime, and all three are in the fantasy genre, keep that in mind.
