Peels are NOT for cystic acne! It irritates acne MORE! What is that beeping noise in ALL of your videos? You fire alarm? I feel bad for you, I think your Derm was just taking your money and ripping you off!

i will wait and save and go on accutane i was on accutane for 4 months it was the best thing that have ever happen to me ill say i spend like700 hundred a moth look i got my prescription in wallgreens they have a saving card they redused like 250 ask them about that you will save alot of money good luck .

oh honey if i had alot of money i would so help you out to get accutane i totally feel your pain but hang in there youll find something soon enough that will help make your acne go away and i really admire how you do these videos and put yourself out there anyways i wish you good luck with finding your cure for acne!:D

I say do option 2 cause you've tried so many other stuff to ur face, it's prolly doing bad than good, give ur skin a rest and save up and start on accutane. Im on my 3rd month, my derm started me off with one pill a day ( 40mg) which was like $300, and then my derm bumped my dosage up to where i was taking 80mg twice a week and 40mg on the other days. that was like 4 hundred something, im on my 3rd month now, where im taking 80mg one day and 40 the next, that was like five hundred something..

but i only paid 10$ each time i picked up my prescription, cuz my insurance paid the rest... its expensive but its very worth it, my skin has cleared up tremendously and am very happy with the results.

I wanted to let you know abt your condition what a lot of people don't know is that spironolactone therapy/birth control works best if the acne is hormonal. Start with a simple blood test that looks for potassium levels and aldosterone levels as well. The blood test has to be done PREMENSTRUAL (thats when aldosterone levels are highest and potassium levels are low)

My boyfriend went on Accutane treatment after struggling with acne for years and cystic acne at that. It totally cleared up quick, he's skin looks flawless now. We both have horrible skin, now i'm thinking about Accutane treatment

im on Claravis 40mg and it cost me 192 a month on walmart for 30day supply. call again and ask for 40mg for 30day supply and u will c. TRUST ME ..accutane works, i am so happy i got on it, i was so frustrated b4 and would also cry about my acne, but now im almost done with 5 months :)..

i recommend accutane!!!!!!! i also didnt have insurance and this stopped me many times bc i couldnt afford paying for it until i got sick of my acne..and am paying for accutane. Basically blood exam 100month, accutane pills 200-300month and dermo visit -80...so far around $500 a month but so WORTH IT!!! please get on accutane!!! dont let money stop u

yes, well i was on doxycicline, but it gave me a bad reaction, so im now on epiduo at night then 2 times a day im taking ammoxicilin pills.

so yeah, its cleared me up amazingly i love it :)

It's about time I find someone who I can relate with on these issues..it is VERY hard to get medical insurance nowadays...so I completely understand where you're coming from!! Even $75 is too much for any kind of medicine out of pocket...it's a shame that people like us have to suffer because we can't afford health insurance..I feel ya girl...definitely keep us updated!!

also i must say not every dermatolgist is not created equal. i had 3 doc appointments and i would not leave his office without a prescription for accutane..... i insisted and forced him to give me accutane w/e tho u have to be proactive nobody knows your skin better than you!!

ok, seriously your derm sound like he sucks ass! like why are you paying him to hurt you like that? i would tell him to kick rocks....... im on accutane in canada and its only 75 dollars for 40mg for 30 days..... 400 for laser treatments? what a scam seriuously put that money towards accutane..... after 1 week my face is clearing!!!! can you get a loan or something and then make monthly payments... good luck

i think that you should wait to get the accutane.. ( as long as your still taking the spironolactone ) and dont go to the derm until you go to try and get an accutane prescription.. every month set money aside for accutane until you think you have enough to start. I don't think you should wait and do absolutely nothing until you are ready for accutane.. that is why i say keep taking the spironolactone... good luck with whatever you decide..

U should do the accutane. i've had acne for the past 10 yrs also & eventhough i always had health insuance, my doctor would never refer for me to see a derm to get the accutane. So i also went through so many other treatments and medications and NOTHING WORKS!!!!!!! Finally that i've been on accutane for the last 1 1/2 month, i am seeing progress!!!! You really need to do it because even though you'll spend a lot of $ now, it will be worth it in the long run. I understand your pain, good luck!

did you just get on birth control recently? When I first started yaz birth control, my skin got like 7 cystic pimples in one week and then cleared up.. and continued from there.

i honestley don't know what the best option is.. i would say accutane, but if you dont do anything for 6 months it could get 10 times worse which would make u be on accutane longer.. you know what i mean ?
