Anita Baker, (the narrator) was one of the worst humans ever created. Her campaigns against drugs and all things not "white, anally pure, vaginally restrictive and christian ruined America. So glad she is gone, although I hope everything she campaigned against, aside from intoxicated driving (not sure she did that though) is happening to her in the darkest depths of heaven.
I take drugs and I never have to get people to repeat themselves when they say simple and only slightly vague things. Maybe if these kids took drugs their every second sentence wouldn't be "what?"
So keep a pacifier and/or drugs with you at all times, and don't play baseball when dizzy. Check.
But are you sure about the year? It looks closer to 1969 than 1979. Unless South Florida was a decade behind the rest of the country. I wouldn't discount that possibility.
Hi... I have an addiction. It started out when I was this thing called a baby. I started with pacifiers, and as I got older I moved onto skipping over cracks. Despite my severe skipping disorder (SSD) I got a job at a major law firm. On a skip home, I accidentally got in a major accident when I hit my windpipe on a plank a man was carrying. In the hospital, I was introduced to morphine and now I can't stop finding ways to get the stuff... If only I had never done pacifiers.... If only....
Okay, she doesn't explain why the baby has a diaper because it's assumed that we'd know that. But she feels it's necessary to say "This is a baby." as if we wouldn't fucking know?!?! "Well gee I know why them things wear diapers but shucks, if I know what in heck them things are!
what kind of old guy hops around the sidewalk like that. and i like how they think that free samples are an ultimate incentive to not to drugs. And no one gets that disoriented from spinning on a swing. these people are a bunch of buzz kills, ill jump over cracks and spin on swings as much as i want bitch. lol
So habits are bad in general? Does that mean that if I make a habit of making my bed, making sure my house is clean, and making sure I'm a good driver are all bad for me?
I can't believe they move the pacifier on the poor baby. It's bad enough to make the baby shriek to emphasize some poorly conceived analogy for their message. I'm only 5 minutes into this crap and I'm already disgusted.
Drug addicts are like babies! It all makes sense now! Babies are addicted to their pacifiers, so we should teach them to work and take care of themselves so that adults and parents won't have to be so burdened by their existence. I should kick my nephew's ass for shitting in his diaper.
Does anyone know or remember the "filmstrips" that were shown in the late 70s and early 80s called "Joe's Stomach". There were a ton of them made (or at least it seemed like it.) I can only remember even as a kid thinking "Wow, these are weird." It would start off with a picture of an organ and it was always Joe's. Do they exist on youtube anywhere? I am just craving one after seeing this.
@The777butterflies i've been trying to comment on your page,(youtube is stifling anyone who can actually type a paragraph in the comments page here) but it keeps saying "This channel is unavailable". There are some videos of different Rifftrax shorts on YouTube and this one is in one of those vids, but i can't remember which one. I think it might be #6 just search for Rifftrax shorts
does anyone remmember a d.a.r.e cartoon called "The Land of Decisions and Choices?" it was about these kids going to school, untill the d.a.r.e officer's dog comes out,and takes there d.a.r.e worksheets. so they follow the dog to a creepy woods area.then they show these two guys in a van, saying "look, new customers, they must be 10,or 11".then they put costumes on.one's a rabbit, the other is a bee,and they try to push drugs on the kids. does anyone have it so they can upload it?
This actually scared me about life more than drugs. This has got to be one of the most entertaining bazaar retro film I have ever seen. Scared me. Truly scared me. Of life. LOL.
Okay from what I understand, drugs are like grown men skipping, baseball players getting dizzy, children almost getting killed for some cookies and the origin of Jason Voorhes.
"Okay... okay, fun's over, guys. Give me back my nuk, now... please! Come on, I really need that nuk! Oh, man, I'm getting the shakes! Okay, this isn't funny anymore! Give me my nuk! Oh, god, I'm dying here! Here comes the DT's! Huh? Spiders! SPIDERS!!! AAAAAAGGHHH!!! OH, MY GOD, GIVE ME MY NUK!!!"
why cant you see they're mouths when they talk? why?? wWHY??? i'll tell you why, it's a cover up, they havn't got mouths they have holes with teeth in them, and this wormy thing that wriggles around inside that hole and it goes down into a pit and in that pit there are these chemicals that make stuff melt and go all gloopy and after that theres a tunnel that goes on for many metres and it makes stuff go brown and long and smelly and the goverment is trying to cover this up!! IT"S A CIA PLOT!!!
this is one of the funniest videos i've ever seen... especially the part where the guy makes a face after running into that pole. Man, this movie must have made people do drugs even more!
Man I love they put a constant stream of pictures in front of children and tell them "THESE ARE AWFUL, THEY WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE, YOU WILL BE AN ADDICT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE IF YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING DRUGS!" So it's like the kids see these "evil" things, and they start to wonder "what's all the hype about?" They do drugs, and the whole campaign is then nullified via its own actions.
It's so funny, I remember watching this in third grade in Nebraska & my whole 3rd grade class all started to laugh and make fun of it, 'cuz it was so bad. Or teacher was actually pretty embarassed...
