  • That's funny, I removed the magnets and centrifugal brakes in all my reels

  • Me too. Down with friction! I'm always trying to get these things to freespool better.

  • hi all, how about the daiwa sealine sl20sh or sl30sh?, it has plastic spool, will it works with the magnet?, thank you

  • i will try putting some copper hire on the spindle and a magnet on the bail so mayeb it will make some voltage :D forgot to mention nice job :D

  • diawa 6.3 super tuned gets alot of backlashes

  • bikee1no, that reel should cast good as is. We ussually mag out larger surf reels. On the Daiwa 6.3 try different settings and maybe different line until you get it to work correctly. The reel is too small to modify the way we do the bigger ones. It'll be ok after you get it dialed in bro.

    Regards,

    TSS

  • diawa6.3 super tuned i bought it from a garage sale of a niehbor who recently passed and its like new,but im getting alot of backlashes

  • how can i add them to a bait cast reel

  • blkee1no, Not all reels are modifiable. What reel are you asking about?

  • what are the magnets for how do they improve the performance?

  • HiluxLover, the Magnets create a magnetic field that is proportional to the speed of the spool spinning. What this does is prevent backlashes and allow for a longer cast... We go for distance... thanks for the good question...

  • OK,, Yall!!!! I do live in Texas ya know Yall!!
