Even though gentrification is mad big in our borough these days (hey, there is somewhat of a plus: We get NBA basketball next year!), riding the train (J) on the Broadway line (or, just walking on Broadway) is, to me, the one main stretch in the borough where you can still see some of Brooklyn's classic history. You can close your eyes and really imagine throngs of people below you going KONG-shit after the '55 World Series. LOT of history along Broadway--BK Broadway, that is! :-)
