I was born in Savonlinna end still spend my summertime there.This is great.Thanks alot.Castle is Olavinlinna nad there is held OperaFestivals in sumemrtime - in July.Savonlinna Opera Festivals - and in sumemr 2008 ballet festivals - in June.

A very nice video :) I've never been to that part of Finland but it pretty much all looks the same. If you learn your way in winter in spring you will get lost! So don't try looking for the castle in spring hehe

Thanks for this very entertaining travelogue. Finland seems like a very interesting place. Finnish names sound very musical but I hear that the language is hard. Good to know that Finland is wheelchair friendly
