  • Gary Johnson sure does debate well. I wonder if he ever did LD debates while in school.

  • If you support Gary Johnson, then vote for Ron Paul 2012! Gary Johnson recently endorsed RP.

  • what? this guy took his idea from Ron Paul

  • I'm not sure what Johnson is saying? At 1:20 he clearly states that smoking pot will not be legal, Right after stating that it needs to be legal? And that prohibition is the problem in this country? And yes with Mj it is, And needs to change! Ron Paul is clear on the fundimentals of his beliefs, That is why I'm voting for Ron Paul. I understand Freedom. Vote Ron Paul for president!

  • @redprojects You clearly misunderstood. He kinda screwed up on delivery, but he meant marijuana would not be legal for kids to buy or smoke, and that it would not be legal to drive under the influence of marijuana. just like alcohol.

  • if i lived in the states.. i would vote for that guy.... he has his issues on lock son!! :))

  • Wow, this guy and Ron Paul argue for a lot of what I did my speeches on in my speech class. Especially the fact that we should be looking at drug use as a health related issue instead of a crime. What sense does that make anyway, to penalize a drug user? I would love to hear the first rational argument in favor of that. Thus, for those who are not keen on legalizing drugs across the board, you should at least consider the decriminalization of drugs. FYI: Portugal is doing it right.

  • Ron Paul/Gary Johnson 2012

  • ron paul says the same thing, and i think people take him more seriously as he's older and sounds more intelligent than gary.. not sure if ron is even running though..

    just sayin..

  • @DaFleegsta Not sure if Ron Paul is running? I hope you are trolling otherwise you have spent either way to much time watching the mainstream media or sitting in your basement smoking weed. He's not only running, he's running strong. Right now he is first place in Iowa, and 2nd place in New Hampshire.

  • @jonathanmollet1 im 18.. and canadian.. calm down

  • @DaFleegsta You're excused I suppose.. the fact that the video is of the Republican Presidential debate and briefly shows Ron Paul standing on stage gives me the feeling that the answer was obvious.. but since I don't know a thing about Canadian politics I shouldn't talk

  • @DaFleegsta Ron IS running, and he's the only one that can be elected. HE NEEDS TO! It's very important.

  • thre is an extremely important economic .if tomorrow morning pot and all other drugs were legal and did not have a black market premium the price would fall faster than house prices in florida.this would also lead drug dealers with a product that was bought with cash as with any other business.the money would go back in the regular economy perhaps to buy a house in florida.

  • Finally...finally..

  • "You admit to smoking it while it was still illegal in New Mexico." that's right, do what you have the right to do. our founding fathers, who were libertarians, had plantations for marijuana and george washington bragged about how much it was a miracle drug. i want to be able to light a doobie without any stigma attached to it like how someone can enjoy a beer.

  • Its amazing how the so called legal Pharmaceuticals kill over 15 thousand peeps a year & Pot has killed 0.

  • There are only three republican candidates I could ever consider voting for; Gary Johnson, Ron Paul, and, um......I forgot. Oops, sorry.

  • Where has this guy been. I have not heard of him until today. I support Ron Paul for the nomination and the Presidency, but this guy is too good to let go. Why do we only have the choice of Obama black or Obama white as far as the media is concerned. With this guy as 'Drug Czar" we could save not only our own country from this senseless violence and waste, but Mexico also. I would certainly see a benefit of a Paul and Johnson ticket in the fall.

  • @jimbronaugh this guy should run as vice president for ron paul

  • Gary Johnson, Ron Paul, And Jon Huntsman are the only canidates i would vote for.

  • It's not enough to say "Vote Ron Paul"

PEOPLE NEED TO SWITCH PARTIES 12 WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE PRIMARIES IN MOST STATES.

IF YOU DO NOT SWITCH IN TIME YOU CANNOT VOTE IN PRIMARY.

IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED REPUBLICAN YOU CANNOT VOTE IN PRIMARY.

IF RON PAUL DOES NOT WIN PRIMARY, NO GENERAL ELECTION ! REGISTER AS A REPUBLICAN. FIND OUT WHEN YOUR STATE HAS PRIMARIES. FIND OUT WHERE AND VOTE VOTE VOTE ! PLEASE !

WE NEED EVERY LAST VOTE ! Copy and paste this everywhere! Thumbs up!

  • Gary Johnson is such a real dude. Him and Ron Paul are great, I hope they run together under the same ticket.

  • If Ron Paul wasn't running, I'd be rooting for this guy. Ron Paul seems to have a better chance of winning though.

  • @kapua224

if marijuana is legalized, the price of weed will definitly not go up. weed is a huge cash crop in america and the government is not dumb, they know if they keep marijuana at a reasonable price, the sales will go up. the government needs to make money and they know well that they would not make income off of something people are not willing to buy as you said so yourself.

  • He said something sensible, noone will vote for him. Got to appeal to the crazies to win.

  • this guy gave too many numbers. he needs to learn how to campaign in america

  • @k3nn3h You're probably right. Ron Paul has the same problem. He talks in run on sentences. Neither him nor Johnson have short soundbites like the other candidates, and that gets annoying watching them in the debates. They'll spend 2 minutes waffling about how getting out of Iraq is the right thing to do, when if they just announced "Bring the troops home." with a full stop it would get a round of applause and the message would be done.

  • i voted for Obama in 2008 but Gary Johnson keeps talking about legalizing weed am voting for that nigga!!!!

  • I voted for Obama in 2008 and will vote for him again in 2012, but Paul and Johnson give me something to think about!

But I know they will never get the nomination oh well....

  • @luvitluvitbaby No they wont. Not as long as tools like you keep thinking in that mindset.

  • @threezerol944t umm I'm not a Republican so I'm not voting in their primary. I vote in the general though! I know the GOP embraces stupidity and ignorance and will never nominate someone with a brain so that rules out Paul and Johnson. I'm sorry for your frustration, but that's just the way it is! :-(

  • @luvitluvitbaby Im not a Republiacan either you twit.Certainly not a dem either. People like you and your Im in the democrat club, are the problem. Both you guys are fuckin whacked in the head!! Republican, and democrat, stop pretending like one is better than the other.Dont matter if they dont nominate him. he'll run on the Libertarian or independent ticket. Register republican to vote in the primary, its that simple.Re-register back to your party the next day.

  • @threezerol944t look I'm not gonna argue with you or engage in childish namecalling! If a Republican wins it will only ligitimize the GOP strategy of obstruction. Therefore, even if Paul wins Democrats will block/filabuster if they happen to be in a minority any programs Paul may favor even if Democrats agree with it. This way the country can fail and they can blame Ron Paul and vote him out in 2016! If the GOP wins with their new strategy this is where politics will be headed permenantly! :-)

  • @luvitluvitbaby You like Paul, but are nwilling to do that???

  • Im votein for him

  • this dude has balls (no homo)

  • Finally!!! We are getting presidential candidates with SENSE!!!!!

  • Legalizing marijuana isn't the smartest idea. Yeah it'd be fun to be able to smoke it without getting the paranoid feeling of possibly going to jail for having some on you. But if the government legalizes it, they will tax it and companies will add chemicals in it to make it addicting. Taxing it will make a dub more than $20. The prices will rise. I love my weed. But if it starts to cost more than the food I buy than I'm done.

  • @kapua224 You'll be able to grow your own organic weed, no chemicals added. No one with the ability to grow their own will buy it at the store, it's too easy to grow, even in a closet.

I'm more worried about GMO tomatoes...

  • @kapua224 Bro, the reason weed is so expensive now is because it's illegal. Legalize it and you can get a "dub" for less than a dollar. It's that cheap to grow.

  • @kapua224

maybe at first the price of marijuana would go up but once the initial excitement wears off the price will go down. it would be like buying a pack of cigarettes.

and there would be regulations on it, so companies couldnt make it highly addicive.

of course the government will tax it, but it will be like the tax on cigarettes or beer.

legalizing marijuana = lower prison costs, tax revenue, job creation.

  • @kapua224 Dude, weed is already overpriced. Legalizing, if anything, will make the price go down. And with more people growing huge numbers of crops without fear, the price will definitely drop.

  • This guy has a chance but Ron Pauls got this.

  • You have my vote. Wish we could have another Bill Clinton..idc what anyone says he may have gotten some pussy in office but at least he was a damn good president!

  • I would vote gary johnson or ron paul for president. balot or not. you can always write in.

  • Gary Johnson has great ideas, period. But it's a pretty late run for him to try and get the GOP nomination. Ron Paul has the best chance of coming in from the outside and actually becoming President, so I'd urge you all to vote for him.

  • I agree and i'm 15!

  • haha no dislikes thats fantastic!

  • woooooooooo

  • Ron Paul/Gary Johnson 2012

  • this guy's got the right idea. go with legalizing marijuana.. Ron Paul is never gonna win with his plans of legalizing cocaine, heroin, etc. that's too much for the average american to tolerate because its so much more dangerous than weed.

  • @GraveDiggerIII But he is so much better than any president we have had in the past 2 decades. And his defense on that whole drug thing is that, is everyone really gonna go out the next day and start smoking crack up there ass? Besides it would be more of a decriminalized thing

  • @GraveDiggerIII

So do you not trust the consumer to make reasonable choices about their health? 99% of us will never try heroin because of our own health concerns, why should we as a group tell the other 1% what they can and can't do with their own bodies? If heroin were legal then the government would be able to regulate it, crime would decrease, and the revenues that gangs create would plummet because of the risk premiums that they charge for the illegality of drugs to begin with.

  • @locutusofborg278

yeah i know the whole story and benefits of legalization and i'm all for it. i never said i was against that.. all im saying is that ron paul isn't gonna win any votes with his plans to legalize all those hard drugs. im just saying the majority of people isn't gonna support that idea.

  • @GraveDiggerIII ron paul isnt saying legalize it, he is saying let the states decide. he isnt for or against.

  • @joeratti He is personally for the legalization of weed, as is anyone who approaches the issue with a clear head. He would leave it up to the states to decide, but he is opposed to the prohibition of weed.

  • He's smart, articulate, rational, and wants limited government.......... and because of this, the GOP will never nominate him.

  • I'm votein for him and y'all should to

  • He has the same speech everytime marijuana comes up

  • looks like the US is going back to the glory days e.e

  • He is the first logical politician I have ever heard.

  • LEGALIZE WEED !

  • ...step by step to US fall...amen...

  • @svyblov no its how we get back up, spammer

  • @pistolpete667

...eh...or rather how u spam your back with same shit...

  • I hope he wins. He seems to make more cense than any of those other boneheads.

  • So be it Gary.

  • i kno who im voting for...

  • @trevorlikestoskate

    Me too: Ron Paul.

  • @trevorlikestoskate No vote Ron Paul look him up

  • @trevorlikestoskate Yep. Ron Paul.

  • @trevorlikestoskate

    RON PAUL

  • @trevorlikestoskate Ron Paul?

  • Amen.
