  • how manny episode is it at season 4??

    please answer :)

  • This is so fuckin amazing.

  • this is the best lost scene in my opinion

  • I would think Ben's hands would hurt when touching metal in this icy climate

  • I agree with whoever said Emerson deserved an emmy. Just look at his expression at 3:44. Its like the definition of determination and sadness

  • @JGT021 He did get the emmy for this particular season.

  • one of my faviroute scenes in all of lost.

  • sooo...what happened next?

  • lost was one of the best tv series ever ! but i really believe it needed another season to be complete , with a good ending.

  • @romas1995 I disagree. I think it had a brilliant ending, and another season would really just be stretching it.

  • @romas1995 why a good ending when it had a perfect one :/

  • @X5Exotic it wasnt perfect, it was RUSHED !

  • @romas1995 no it wasnt rushed!! :( they showed us everything :S

  • @X5Exotic hardly, they made us think a lot of things, act of gods, weird physics, paranormal things. and the conclusion was just weird physics with a stupid ending episode that hardly explained anything, and not only it didnt explain he ruined our own imagination. what i thought inside me head is 10 times more interesting withougt spoiling the "mystery" by explaining everything.

  • @romas1995 what was unexplained?

and if it were, doesnt make sense that it ruined ur imagination, since they never explained, but im sure u just didnt notice it

  • Did anyone else notice how blatantly the crowbar moved between shots just after he fell off the ladder?

  • GO BEN GO

  • The song playing when Ben turns the wheel to channel the water and the light from the Heart of The Island is called "Locke of the Island". It starts played when Locke is leaving the Orchid to rejoin The Others (hence the title). But, it is primarily a Ben-centric motif with hints from Ben's theme "Dharmacide" from Season 3.

  • Can somebody please tell me the name of the song when Ben is pushing the wheel it's so frigging epic!!

  • um, Richard didn't go back in time because he has been on the island all along, longer than the losties, so technically he can't go back in time? Like the people on ajira who couldn't go back in time, was because they were already on the island at that time? Is this right?

  • Anyone notice that the date the island moved was December 26, 2004? The same date as the Indian Ocean tsunami. I thought that was a pretty cool fact (not the tsunami but the idea that the island moving may have caused it)

  • epic music

  • Is there a clip of when Locke moved the island using this wheel? I remembre when locke fell down and broke his leg and Christian/MIB was at the bottom and he told locke to say hi to his son. anyone else remember this clip and why isn't it on youtube it was awesome.

  • Absolutely Mindfucking. We are privileged to live this amazing story that will change TV forever. LOST FTW

  • Sun's face was brilliant. Never saw that before. And why am I even watching the video on youtube when the DVD is right on my shelf? =/

  • Don't you think Aaron would have died? I mean I guess I should put disbelief out the window seeing as about a minute and a half before that 2 islands moved in space and time.

  • whats the song while ben was moving the island?

  • dharmacide

  • That's Locke of the Island, not Dharmacide.

  • How the hell did they survive THAT?

    And great acting by Emerson

  • OR how the hell did baby Aaron survived that?!

  • speaking of the Donkey Wheel, has anyone happened to notice it's shape is the reverse pattern of the Dharma logo's?

  • awesome scene... but if in the end ben moving the island coused more deaths than solutions, and probably Ben knew that Locke had to move it instead of him, then why exactly did he do it? Besides, Widmore wasn't sending another freighter by the next day, so why the hurry? Why not having waited at least 1 hour to move it so the O6 never got off the island and everyone happy?

  • He wanted to kill Penny I think

  • @ 4:36 Sun's face is priceless xD

  • lost is awsome

  • this scene is amazing!

    season 5 only 2weeks away!

  • lol

  • Shit, that was very exiciting and emocionally

  • this scene and the one in episode 9 are the greatest......but one thing its really interesting...we know ben landed in the sahara desert after he teleported...but he waked up in october 2005!!!!!thats 8 months after he moved the island..i think thats the real reason the island moved through space but also through time

  • Theory after theory...people who agree, people who don't... some like you, some hate you...all I know is, that when you went off the air, I will miss you badly.

  • awesome!!! but the cgi looks weird like doctor who or somthing.

  • I think faraday was shot back into the dharma days when the wheel was turned :D

  • I think Charlotte is from the future!

  • why

  • nah, i think she was once on the island before

i would say she was born there, prob not conceived

  • I think faraday is from the past

  • why

  • has anyone thought about what's happened to faraday and the other survivors he was moving to the freighter? the freighter's destroyed and the island teleported. and unless they were close enough to the island that they moved with it, they're probably stranded in the middle of the ocean.

  • They have been moved along with the island, when the island moved and trying to find somewhere to land jack said there was a smaller island they took us to just off-shore from the main island(like faraday) but the smaller island wasnt there coz it moved :)

  • Ben's theme music is great.

Oh, and if they kill off Desmond I'll be pissed. He's my favorite.

  • I don't understand... how can it be so cold down there? And where is the island now?

  • ben told locke that they were going somewhere very deep

  • youve probably gotten an answer but i will give you an answer anyway, The reason why it is so cold down there is because of the polarbears that were supposed to move the island, the island time skipped it moved from one place to another no one knows where.

  • nice theory

  • the theory is already proved because remember in season 4 episode 2 confirmed dead? when charlotte discovers a skeletton in tunisia with a dharma sign on it? now why is there a polarbear in the desert in Tunisia? that is because a polarbear moved the island a long time ago, and as we all know Tunisia is the EXIT.=)

  • There is no proof that supports that. How did Danielle's ship end up in the middle of jungle? Did she turn the FDW as well? Nope. Same analogy.

  • the crashing chopper is really bad CGI imo!

  • yes it is indeed! But the whole plot makes up for those 3 seconds of horrible CGI.

  • When they have more post-production time, the CGI is much better (remember "Confirmed Dead"). This was the writer's strike fault.

  • Thats weird. I actually thought it was a cool piece of CGI. Shows how much I know, lol.

  • Wow, I can't wait for season 5!

  • Wow, I can't wait for season 6! :D

But really, I expect so much from it!

  • WHY would Ben move the island? If Keamy and Omar and the other ramboes are dead..there's no need to move the island...The purpose of moving the island was to avoid the TORCHING..if the "torchers" are dead..why would Ben move the island?????

  • Because Widmore would know the exact location of the island by now and therefore would send more mercenaries.

  • ohh! yeah..makes sense!! Ben said that?

  • It's also interesting to note that maybe there's a bigger threat than simply more mercenaries...

  • Well, it is because their boss knew were the Island was and would come with another group of mercenaries to kill every one.

  • yeah! but anyone noticed that Locke did not ask Christian what the black smoke was?? Ben told Locke that he could ask Jacob all about it...but he never asked it..only: HOW DO I SAVE THE ISLAND?

  • Comment removed

  • yeahh! they better come up with a decent explanation! I can imagine that all will be answered in the final episode of season 5..but it better be a GREAT explanation!!! That "mistery box" of JJ Abrams is chewing up my mind!

  • He moved the Island to keep it safe and so that Charles Widmore will never find the Island.

  • Michael Emerson should win an emmy for this season. Terry O'Quinn won last year, but he was great too.

  • Great acting by Emmerson, the emotional and physical pain he goes through while turning the wheel is portrayed really well!

  • A lot of people who read the spoilers for this episode were worried about this scene being over the top, but as always, Damon and Carlton put it together brilliantly.

  • As anyone else noticed the strange magnetic humming that you can hear in the subterranean section of the Orchid? It looks like it is the same one that we could hear in the concrete Hallway of the Swan. A possible link with the time-traveling of Desmond's counciousness and the time-traveling properties of the Orchid?

  • They should redo that copter crash on the DVD... AMAZING SCENE but somehow it just looks fake.

  • I can't wait for the Blu-ray!! Unfortunately I will have to.

..about 7 months.. till December for the DVD/Blu-ray release.

that's too long! I'm glad I have all the episodes at least. But nothing beats Blu-ray!!!

  • I agree. That's why I'm saving up for a PS3 and both Seasons 3 and 4 for the Blu-Ray.

  • @mrclifton88

It looks fake probably because it is a fake crash? Just enjoy the Lost dude..

  • Ben will get back onto the Island. Ben is such a good character, they won't just get rid of him like that. Well, at least I hope so.

  • well I hope they never get rid of him.. but about the island return, I say definitely.. I mean he's already up to something in the very last scene of the season finale.

  • The music played here is amazing, its like the orchestrated version of Ben's theme song.

  • This scene was very cool, especially when the bright light and the violet sky appeared and the ripples after the Island moves. I hope that next season we'll learn more about the four-toed statue, the hieroglyphics, the Island, the Dharma Initiative and possibly why the Orchid is built on top of the ancient section

  • It's very weird with the lantern seen in the ancient section. Would the DI or the original inhabitants have something to do with this?

The comment that was posted by molz505 was actually me winterscott1991. Just letting everyone know.

  • I didn't know that the comment that I posted was actually my sister's profile.

  • The character "Ben" gave his life to the Island. After all, he knew he wasn't allowed "back" if he moved the Island. It was a fantastic piece of cinema! Wow! Go, Ben, Go!

  • Every show has it's bloopers and continuity weirdness.

Still, M.E. ought to get an Emmy for this finale.

  • i bought dvd's for seasons 1-3 and watched them in a week. havent slept. lost is good!

    ty for the spoilers lol

  • Haha, keep a close eye on the crowbar when he falls off the ladder, then look at it again in the next shot.

  • haha! I just noticed that.. One second its on his side and the next it seems to be a little bigger and in front of him.

    Nice Observation!

  • I absolutely love lost. I loved it since the first episode, and probobly 50% of the day, im thinking about lost and working out theories. Its weird when I think that some day, every part of lost will be explained. I mean think about it, even the black smoke monster, the maybe the biggest mystery in Lost, will be explained. It's moments in Lost like this vid that really get to the core of the show. No matter how unrealistic Lost can get, the show is sheer brilliance and I can't get enough of it.

  • thank you for sharing your passion!

LOST is just the most interesting and best acted television show on tv.. with a great cast and a very addicting plot that never stops amusing me and continues to grab me with every episode. The deaths! The flashback shockers! The flashforward shockers! The dialogue! The comedy! The mystery! The action! The horror! The sci-fi! AND of course, the Drama!

LOST is television history in the making & I'm glad I was there from the beginning to watch it all!

  • that happend before in series 2 didnt it with all the light in the sky ?

  • sort of this time is was shifting time and space that gave of the sound and the white light, last time it was the swan stations electromagnetic discharge witch gives of a purple light

  • this part is so emotional. Ben's crying... He grew up on the island, and loved it. Its where he felt home. he was the leader of the island's ppl. Now he can never come back

  • It is in absolutely no way a horrible episode. If you don't at the very least think it's a good episode, you'd have to be crazy as hell.

  • ur as dumb as hell. Most likely, u didnt even c this episode, and just stumbled on to this clip. This show is the best telivision has seen in years

  • I meant that very bad thing seams to happen XP

  • Well then, sorry for the misunderstanding.

  • you called it a horrible episode..

  • I meant that horrible things happens..

  • u need a brain then

  • After this Ben gets in the Sahara. See the episode "Shape of things to come"

  • i realised that aswell lol, the bit where he kills the arabs !

  • Oh my....

  • Yep. That's what your are.

  • Ahh, people who watch clips of shows they don't like. What's that about? Do you enjoy not enjoying something?
