  • got some covers to do.

  • o-boy time to get my snes out and play this game.

  • My brother played and beat Lagoon multuple times when we were teenagers. Damn it rocked.

  • Damn, this is back when music in video games was AWESOME!!

  • The soundtrack is just... awesome! I remember every track of this game.

  • I remember renting this for 2 weeks on end from Video Update. The music composition on this old game was really good! Take away Lagoon's great music and this game just wouldn't feel the great way it did. I suppose Lagoon got a bingo's luck chance at getting some very good music , even if it was just 16 bits.... not all games bgms mesh with the game's fluidity

  • LIsten to that double bass! :D

  • 0:46 Michael J. Fox :D

  • This and the battle theme from Mystic Quest.......I used to leave my console running just to listen to the music

  • Okay -- that sword looks A LOT more impressive than the toothpick Nasir runs around with in game.

I had forgotten that Thor looks like almost as much like a chick as the chick. XD

  • @MrTouchShriek Thor here is probably inspired by a character called The Goblin King as portrayed by David Bowie in the movie Labyrinth. I've also seen this persona in yet another anime feature which I cannot quite recall...

Oh, and here's a bit of trivia for metalheads; check out the walls of Lagoon Castle: Eddies Face adornes the walls with one eye flashing with the music, yes you have to see it to believe it!

  • To me, this game is a clear example that even without great graphics and deep plot, a game with kickass music can still manage to captivate you :)

  • Possibly the most epic/bad ass game intro of all time... I got a boner

  • sounds like an iron maiden song

  • memories.

the game ive never beat when i was young.

i love this game. one of the games i allways will remmember

  • I can remember *barely* being a 2 year old rocking the fucking out to this song!

  • haha awesome key-tar quasi-metal

  • Man, I wish they would remake this game, I doubt it though...the music was so damn cool.

  • PSN RELEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @AWarlordsView This wont ever be on PSN as this is a Nintendo game.

  • @DarkShadowRage2

damn it I forgot I thought this was made by Rare.......

    wii ware release PLEASE!!!!

  • @AWarlordsView Rare had nothing to do with it, it was made by kemco/sekia

  • @DarkShadowRage2

    yeah I get it -_-"

  • @DarkShadowRage2 Yes it does kick major ass my friend:)

  • @DarkShadowRage2 ^^^ what a dick....lol

  • @DarkShadowRage2

virtual consolle release. lets vote for it :)

  • @SeventhSun Wtf? I don't understand this comment faggot?

  • Wtf is your problem man?

  • Hot damn that is a fine little tune.

  • This game was pretty lousy, but it has such an awesome sountrack.

I used to leave the intro on for ages as a kid.

  • Fuck that this game is amazing ! i remember playing it when i was 9 ! amazing music and a kickass storyline ! the only level i didn't like was the desert one haha

  • yeah, music awesome, the game sucks :P

  • I remember this gave me goosebumps when he lifts the sword. EPIC music

  • it would be the greatest if someone played this in a real band, wonder what it sounds like

  • This game brings back so many memories... was basically this and Zelda a link to the past on snes that got my into RPG's... and why oh why dont they make games with this type of music anymore?.... old times were so much better ^^

  • Totally agree.

It's wierd really, all the modern music. both the music industry, and the music for the games, none of it comes even close to creating the same kind of melodies that are found in older games.

Very strange. The late 80's early 90's where a clearly amazing era, that i'm very happy to have been a part of.

Really not feeling that i missed like, the 60's / 70's

  • Very nice game =D

  • You Rock.

  • this is one of the best games for snes

  • Lol the Music kind of Reminds me of a power ranger theme

  • Only more badass and not only for kids. haha

  • Yes but the original Power Ranger theme was made by Dragonforce

  • HOLY SHIT ARE YOU SERIOUS?!

  • Yea can you believe it?

  • HARDLY haha

What's your source of info on it? lolol

  • My Source of Info is Youtube itself and actually listining to it once Go and listen to The MIghty Morphin power rangers theme and tell me that does not sound like dragonforce

  • Will do!

  • Hmm... I can see how you think so with the tapping and all, but... I dunno... Well... Is it only you who thinks so?

  • No My bad it was made by a band called The Mighty RAW

  • HAHAHA I thought so! lol

I couldn't believe it for a second. It just doesn't sound like the dudes vocals, and Herman Li's guitar solo's so I'm like..... FUCK no lol

  • hmm i coulda swore reading it was made by Dragonforce oh well lol

  • Well whatever lol, Everyone makes mistakes. :P

  • Holy..bejesus...an argument solved...on youtube? *major applause* you two seriously rock. lol

I have NEVER seen that happen.

Anyways I have yet to play this game though I have a huge collection but my friend is bringing home a copy today. Freaking awesome

  • I wouldn't call it an arguement, I thought he was right about Dragonforce playing the intro to Power Rangers lol, Buuuuuuut I looked into it and Power Rangers is older than Dragonforce. But anyway, It really is a good game but mind you, It's fucking difficult. I suggest getting a rom/Emulator for it just for the Save State advantage, Otherwise you'll be screaming at the TV. The sword reach is as long as a toothpick and the bosses move a lot. lol

  • lol close enough. I call it a win. But yeah I saw the sword reach. I'm a secret of mana, kinda guy. But we have a device for the snes that not only plays foreign games but also does save state by 2 combo button presses to save and load, lol I'm sure it'll help

  • "because it kicks major ass.."

I so agree:) Used to be the best game to my nintendo. Found so much pleasure in it.

  • The music is damn rock for this one.

I remember because I still have the cartridge (bought in a used store several several years ago) and I played it just yesterday on my set.

And I also like the fact that the Middle Eastern Muslim main guy is with a European Christian sidekick (he looks like Ken to me lol) and the ending is that the warriors of both religious faiths work to run the land with both faiths co-existing in harmony. Very nice.

  • I think this is one of the best rpg games created for the Snes, thanks for uploading.

  • 1 million times better then zelda! sony should pick this game up and remake!

  • I love this game. Its an SNES classic.

  • Indeed, Toothpick sword of doom!

  • He last boss is easy as long as you keep wearing the healing ring

  • I remembered i skipped a few days of elementry school just so i could complete the game!

  • damn good job that's awesome - this game was awesome and still is

  • After playing tihs game at a friends house, I rushed out and bought my own copy of this game, and I still have it.

  • I got up to the last boss, but I could never beat him.

  • I had forgotten all about this game, and I have it, some where, this brings back memories.... Great game.

  • Hahaha I Have this game i still love the game

  • ha i remember this game got me turned around so much i eventually drew maps for the fields lol and dungeons ha

    i still have them

  • i also did that ;)

  • such a hard game as a kid, I threw the contoller many times playing this.

  • i had this when i was little, and it pwned, i remember every bit of it lol

  • I bought this game when I was a kid... simultaneously the MOST FRUSTRATING THING I'VE EVER ENDURED and also one of the best. Incredible music.

  • A very good game! Love all the final bosses, tho hate the bird ._.

  • It was a good game. Though some of the gameplay was ultra frustrating. One of the elements that really bugged me was the length of the sword.

You literally have to lay on top of the enemies to hit them, it was even harder to gauge the hits when you were facing north.

Catchy tunes. That is one reason I liked the SNES so much more then the Genesis at the time, because of that beautiful sounds that came from the SPC700

  • =D love it! btw what was that blond persons name? can't remember. Never could figure out if it was a guy or girl :P oh well

  • thor

  • lol yeah I don't really know what I was thinking when I wrote that, I figured it out later. I was like "duh". I played this game when I was little and pwn'd it, surprising I had the attention span to run through the seemingly endless dungeons when I was 6. I must have been a video game prodigy when I was young. I just recently made it to the last dungeon and realized that I passed up a sword somewhere, I didn't know that was possible :P

  • one of the first games i ever played on my snes.this game holds a special place in my heart.

  • i loved this game but i can never find its music anywhere :( one of my favorite games ever!

  • I hae this on my beautiful SNES :) Love the game - Love the music - Love your video! 5/5

  • I never forgot this game... And its soundtrack, specially this one!

  • what game is never heard about this snes
