They are laughing at Brooke because she's ridiculous amd a clown/whore. I laugh at her because she's a phony. She's so affected and self-absorbed, she did this while having a REAL JOB and a REAL BOYFRIEND and not being hooked on drugs and alcohol, and recommends it to others like a deluded Polyanna. she is so completely over rated, annoying and had an affair with her (now ex) husband while he was married with a baby. Soon as she moved to LA and made it big she dumped that husbnad for Jason Reitman (also married)

Yes, it is true. she did not write the script for "juno". She was hired to be the "front", like american would think it was quirky and awesome for this "stripper" (actually a rich girl from MN) write this snapy Hollywood screenplay. Turns out she didnt write a word of it, is hooking up with the director and carrying on this big hollywood lie.
