As much as I really want these two to get together, I think I would be content if they remained best friends and Callum got a new girlfriend. Maddie has always annoyed me.

On the other hand, with this much build up and show time, it would hard to believe that nothing is going to happen between George and Callum.

I think Callum starting to push Maddie away.  His main interest is George. This will change into something, but it is too soon to say what. Writers normally do not have two characters interfacing so much unless something goes down.
