  • Thanks for sharing.

  • Hello Jeremy, what was shown in this video are Akoya pearl oysters yes?

How long have u been learning putonghua or did u just pick it up along the way?:)

Akoya pearls r very gorgeous but I love the glow on freshwaters more... lights up a woman's skin so softly and beautifully... the glowy lustre is mesmerizing!!!

  • I wonder what causes the purls to come out in different colors? Thanks for the great video!

  • What?! I heard that You can take the pearl off the oyster and then place a small piece of object-like thing inside it so it can produce another pearl! Not kill it..

  • @HanakoFujita That is only the case with South Sea, Tahitian and freshwater pearls. Akoya pearl oysters cannot be regrafted.

  • People wonder why some pearls are expensive. Labor intensive for up to four years. The pearl is one of Gods beautiful gems.

  • So amazing!! I thought I knew quite a lot, too -- I was wrong! Thanks so much.

  • Thank you for this video-even though I knew a good bit, I learned even more and I have SO MUCH RESPECT for these intelligent and diligent people.
