Here's the thing I struggle with. The claim of Christianity has no proof...it has loads of evidence, just like the Big Bang, but when you boil it all down it comes to belief. Im not religious because I had a friend who overdosed on drugs and died but he was later revived in the hospital and he had no recollection of what happened after he died. So I will never believe the stupid stories people make up about visiting heaven after being revived. I am a christian and I have to say that I am very confused by all this. I am confused because if a body lay dead in the heat for three days there is definitely decomposition. How is this possible for this child to be dead for three days and have no signs of rigermortis (sp?) or decomposition.

Here's the thing I struggle with. The claim of Christianity has no proof...it has loads of evidence, just like the Big Bang, but when you boil it all down it comes to belief. The thing is, what reason do I have to take a leap of faith? Is it cuz I don't want to go to hell? I'm not going to believe because I'm afraid. There is no proof that she was actually dead. A person can go without food and water for 3 days and survive. She was complying with the wishes of those around her and lay there still a quiet. She didn't want to make her father unhappy. To become a medium is a powerful thing in their religion, so she went along with it and b probably really believes she 'died'.

You are a very intelligent man and you are correct about the uniqueness of Christianity, but your argument against it isn't the greatest. You can't technically prove anything for all cases because any one flaw in any "law" or "theory" makes it completely invalid, meaning we are sure of nothing because nothing is sure to be 100% true.

Part 2: ...Sure...there are alot of similarities in other world religions...but they don't line up with proven sciences of creation theorists. I think you need to just sit and listen to a man like Ravi Zacharias for awhile and think about some of his concepts on lifes harder questions. Your intellect will kill you in the end.

Jesus did not die and just come back to life again. Jesus was resurrected, That's the biggest difference. One of the six miracles of Cavalry was where Peter and John ran to the tomb. John went in, and "he believed". The reason he believed is that he saw the grave clothes were still in their original state wrapped on the body. As though His body just vanished and the grave clothes collapsed. Yet, the napkin covering the face was folded neatly in a separate place. Now that is the difference.

There are many cases of people who have died for hours and sometimes days and then come back to life and the ones I have heard so far talk of a Heaven and a Hell. What is special in Jesus case is that he ascended to Heaven later on, and also that many people were raised from the dead with him, plus the earthquake. It was a major event in Jerusalem.

He manipulates the man and somehow makes him fall into a deep sleep (which could be the case in the video). She believed it would happen so it probably did. I'm not saying she actually died though.

Well, I don't have much to comment about the dead girl. But if you want evidence for the death AND ressurection of Jesus Christ, then I STRONGLY suggest researching the Shroud of Turin. He was definetly dead. And the mysterious image testifies to His ressurecrion. You can see me trolling around in Shroud documentories in my recent activity. ;-)

Yes, the claim in the video was expllicitly made that she was dead for 3 days, and during that time she was under guard to ensure that no funny business was happening, like letting her go to the bathroom or slipping her some food. So if Jesus was dead for 3 days and that makes him god, I suppose that this girl being dead for 3 days is god too? Why don't you convert to voodoo worship?

@randyhelzerman No because i am a believing Christian but being from the Carribean and having first hand experience with Santeria and her Sister Voodoo, those people are put in trances, and sometimes drink concoctions containing the poison of the puffer fish which slows down life functions and can give someone the appearance of death.
