@Chaspudz96 The Siberia v2 connects to standard 3.5 mm, and 1/8-inch, headphone and microphone ports. You will need a USB soundcard (like the he SteelSeries Siberia USB Soundcard) so you can use the microphone...

I got the 5hv2 they are the better for ingame sounds such as footsteps, alarms, gunshots etc. Siberia is better for music but not as good for gaming as 5hv2..

The Spectrum 5xb and 4xb are coming for the Xbox...maybe they'll consider working on some for the PS3.

I have questions, guys.

Do they perform well with music? What I mean with this question is do they have good lows, mids or highs? Does it have a clean, deep bass or something? They do state that it supports 7.1 surround sound. Does that mean that the surround sound is applied to the songs?

I am comparing this with the Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Solo and I am scanning some reviews to see which one is the better headphone.

For MP3 players, I prefer/recommend the Siberia ("version 1"): it has cleaner and deeper lows.

I expect the 7.1 applies to the v2 model with the USB soundcard.

In my opinion... the Siberia V2's are the most overrated headsets on the market.

The sound quality is terrible, directional sound was also as bad as the quality.

Really wouldn't recommend them.
