I don't know how *anyone* could possibly consider Bill Henson's work as "art". If the people in the images were over 18yo, some would consider it art, but they're under 18, so it would be child porn.

I'm forced to wonder about people who support this crap. Photographs involving pre-teen nudes is extremely questionable. These opinions have nothing to do with education. I'm with Pete on this. We're old school blokes. This is highly inappropriate.

art is about conceptual thought and process when communicating a message through visual mediums, you obviously dont understand photography or art if you think anybody can capture mood, colour and light like Henson.
Henson's work are relative and do exactly what he is trying to explore. A philistine like yourself wouldnt understand the nature and depth behind the thought of Hensons photographs. I suggest you invest in some education and learn the difference between a painter and an artist

The "art" world, throughout its history, has always been full of brainless sheep and lemmings. If you spit on the ground and tell these sheep that it`s art then they will believe it and pay massive amounts of money for it. Anyone can take photos, you don`t need a particular talent to do that. But not everyone can paint stuff like the Mona Lisa, that`s art. Unfortunately the art world is run by rich powerful perverts who support bill henson by putting his stuff in art galleries.

i'm not that involved with the arts, but even i can appreciate the beauty of bill hensons photographs. im sure somebody as uneducated as yourself would not understand the context in which the young models featured in his photographs, Bill Hensons work is about the doubt and awkwardness that comes with adolescence. I strongly believe that if any damage has been done to these young models, its that politicians are calling it 'revolting' and compromising the beauty of the human form.
