The manager of Michael Cretu and Stefan Zauner told me that the backing vocals were sung by Thissy Thiers (Moti Special, Cretu & Thiers), but I'm still convinced that this is Stefan Zauner singing. In the summer of 86, Zauner was recording the vocals for the Münchener Freiheit album "Traumziel" in Cretu's Data Alpha Studios in Munich, and I guess Cretu was asking him to do the backing vocals on this track. Unfortunately, the tune was no success anywhere. And still it remains unreleased on CD!

@greencase well it was a simpler time and people tended not to scrutinize things the way we do now.. besides, i prefer the lip syncing because when i go to a concert i want to hear the studio quality - not some singer struggling with the vocals...

Its a live performance from the 80's so the midi, audio cables was not stage tools at this time:)

As a solo artist, he didnt brake outside of europe, but as a music producer and song writer he was very successful and has sold more albums and had more success than Simon Cowell, its funny how now after all these years people all over the world come across his old solo music that wasn't successful at the time and now think its great, what his old work needed was more exposure. one of his special qualities is longevity!
