Trapping around 117 assuming his car is completely stock. How much did you spray? I know people taking a second off their E/T with a simple 100-150shot on bad tires. the Fox didn't look THAT fast o.O. I'd like to play with that on motor ;) Give ya more fun lol.
@AntFragale I actually bought that LT1 as a daily driver in May 2010.. It was a fun car.. quite the sleeper. It was a 105mph car. The stang is built for spray, and although jetted for 100 shot, my current setup puts gains from 170-190rwhp on 1200psi of bottle pressure. usually 10-12 mph gains on the shot..
hey lt1s love spray but stock internals from lt1s will whither as opposed to the windsor with its forged internals(or at least i'd hope so lol). Quick example my buddy ryland had an Lt1 with a 150 shot and blew a piston halfway to hell and burnt 6 piston rings through out the life of the poor car dude. So even though its cheap to some just remember that the all motor car although not as quick wont have the problem of having to be rebuilt just my opinion

I bought the damn LT1 in the vid as a daily driver like 2-3 years after this vid was taken. My mustang traps about 15mph more on motor alone than the LT1 did. And the lt1 was a healthy speed density example as well. It would run with LS1's.
Personaly, nitrous isn't my thing, but some people specifically build their engines to run off of nitrous, but specvjosh is right, if you are saying nitrous is for people who don't know how to build and engine, you might as well say turbos and chargers are too.

now im a guy that loves to run what you brung. spray or not ive had a few races that i got beat but ive beat alot as well. I lost last summer at open drag nites in orlando to a 8 sec grand national. did i piss and moan because he was turboed. Hell no matter of fact had a couple beers with him. Thats what its about comraderie. The love of cars. Now just motor im at 675 with a175 shot its about 840. Its mean yes but there is guys out there meaner and faster. So what, as long as you love it

lol you know guys whether he had spary or not no one understands the internal damage spray can have on a motor with just a plumb in job. you do have to upgrade things before you just spray. How do i know? I got a 67 GTO with a 455 roller. The original 400 cid i had in it i only did a 150 shot. Altho the motor just screamed a few times down the track later the juice had a beat down on the motor. Got a 455 now that is built for the spray and run 175 shots without worry ill even do 200 now and then
