@sniperRobert And what do you know about unconventional warfare? If I'm not miastaken, youre still a kid in school who obviously tries to make a point about issues he knows nothing about. I'd suggest you stick with school books.
@MH6M ouch. well you surprised me because i liked your videos. generals tried to burn poppy fields and they realized that it was bad idea because farmers usually don't like when somebody destroy their work
@MH6M This one is probably modernized by Czech Army, We donated a couple of helicopters to ANA, and this one have "flak paneling" in czech camo inside ...
@TimV010 Good question. I wont say I know the answer but there are a few possibilities. For one, ANA Air Force needs combat experiance. More, a Mi-17 is probably less conspicuous than a US made helicopter. But! Pay attention, at the end of the vide, when the SeaKing is flaring preping to land, you can see a Night Stalker MH-47. Also, Night Stalker air assets are few, thei talents in great demand. Not all Special Operations Forces will have them assigned - not enough helicopters and air crews.
who ever is running the dea ground forces shouldbe running our american military.army and marines. cause these boy(DEA) look mean athletic and very effective.
@AdemJashari56 Well they are looking for drugs not terrorists, so they are not going in to the most dangerous places in Iraq/Afghanistan. But i do agree they do look very effective.
@ParabellumUSMC I didn't see them carrying any BUT I would assume it would be a 9mm pistol in order to keep within the logistics train of the military units in their AOR. So I would guess either the M9 or the Glock 17/19 being that most of DEA uses Glocks in CONUS
@cone256 i think I dont know for a fact but a few of my buddies say that they are starting to use .45's because if they do get into a firefight with some guys who are hopped up on drugs supposedly the 9mm doesnt have enough stopping power to take down a target with 1 shot but the .45 does so i can see why thats in mind
@XxNickSSxX44 I would want a .45 as well, but I was thinking of the logistics ends of things. It would be easier for them to piggyback off the military then to run their own supply operation.
what is up with them using the older hellicopters, the hueys and the older russian chopper, can they not get the funding for the newer blackhawks or do they use these for a reason?
Also it's the Afghani border police they're working with so that might have something to do with it. It's a shame the DEA just lost three guys Monday.
the theme song is Rip it Up by Brodus Clay

@TimV010 Thanks! Why didn't they use one of the 160th Blackhawk's or something? Is this Mi-17 also piloted by ANA pilots?

I also love that the dog has a flak vest. I hate units that don't take equal care of their animal companions.

Why the our russian helicopter Mi-17?
BorsalinoCo 2 years ago
The Mi-17 is Afghan. It's probably to put the "Afghan face" on the anti-drug operations.
