I saw a video here on YT not too long ago, some girl in one of the northwest states was whining and complaining about 4th of July celebrations, "all because some old guys signed some dumb piece of paper so long ago". It's sad that history is a subject that isn't pushed so much is school anymore. Even though our country is fairly young, the story of it's making is one of the most dynamic and amazing in the history of the world.

Here's an idea for your next civics test. Ask some people on the street to name both of their U.S. Senators and their Congressional Representative. I bet your jaw will DROP at some of the answers you get.
And these people have the power to vote...God help us all.
Well, I have Arlen Specter. Governor Ed Rendell. I believe the other is Kostymayer. I have actually called Ed Rendell's office to help me in situations. He didn't. I was supposed to call the local government which was a joke. Arlen Spector came up with the single bullet theory regarding the assassination of JFK, so I will not go to him.

Funny thing about Specter. Despite being a Republican, the political right doesn't like him for his moderate positions any more than the political left likes does. It all goes back to his original vote against confirming Robert Bork to the Supreme Court.
Yeah, I kinda like Bob Casey. Things don't really change that much with these guys. I think people don't like Arlen Specter because of his role in the Warren Commission. He was just a lawyer from Philly at that time.
Perhaps if Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson all went into politics we might get a better US Government ( and everyone could phone in and vote !)

Great job, I would have to say History in our schools is Better then most of the world schools.I'm not its Compete History but its the roots that bind us. If you talk to Russians they don't teach history past WW2. To have control of us you must control History. a tree with on Roots can't Stand.

I even saw a vid where americans couldnt even locate our country on a world map, And to top it off they couldnt think of a country that begins with the letter "U" Hint It has 50 states.
Next time do the United States Constitution Bill of Rights.
