I think they planted an actor inside the house from day 1. I mean c'mon, Ryan only won local competitions plus his specialty game is Rhythm and there was no game of that genre in this Season. Also they didn't show much gameplay from him which suggests that he was pretty bad at gaming and just wanted to shit stir drama inside the house.

@masterhien Well the ppl on this show aren't all-rounded gamers either. That's not a requirement for entry. The ppl on this show tend to be great at only 1 or 2 specific games and decent-good at games in a specific genre. They more often than not suck at games outside of their genre.

Then assuming they can find enough talent they should do genre specific seasons with gamers specializing in that genre. So one season they would crown a FPS champion, the next a Rhythm game champion and so on.
