We are thinking of redoing this video. It is a mixture of Digraphs and Diphthongs and we are thinking it might be best to split them up, thus making the video a little shorter. Great for young attention spans. What do you think? Please visit our channel and let us know your thoughts!
@omigrad Yes, I would like to see diphthongs and digraphs split... both for shortened attention spans and for ease of understanding. Other than that, great video! Thanks!
@meowmixx66 If you write down all the words in this video, you will see that every word has a matching word (coins/purse, boy/girl, etc.). We do this so our students can remember the words and sounds in pairs. When we split the two sets, we need to create new illustrations to maintain this system. It will take a few months, but we'll get there. :)
@omigrad nope its an expression of a pirate.

How to differentiate between th- and -th sounds?
joshimaru100 8 months ago
@joshimaru100 In this video, the voiced sound uses bold fonts. In normal English, the ending /th/ is usually non-voiced.

@TMar066 Thanks! We try to use a different genre for each phonics video. We have two more left to do and are considering Latin and Country. Thoughts?

Must've been tough to remember that last "ow" "ow" "oo" "oo" part . . . ;-)
Posting a link to it in our blog now. Thanks!
