We are in a Catch 22 situation right now... alternative energy sources cost money to develop and will come slowly as will our ability to reduce dependence on foreign oil. It isnt the governments that will need to treat our men and women better when they come home or when they r sent out. It is us the people, the citizens of this fair nation because we the people rule this country. Without us the ppl, the government is just a bunch of old men.
Very true, but when my dad came back from WWII, the VA treated the returning troops better as far as the care they needed. I am hearing disturbing things about how our soldiers are treated (regarding the care they need and deserve) upon their return by the very gov't that sent them into service, esp after the Gulf War....that is what I was referring to.
Good point, perhaps in the old days, things were better. So many changes in this new modern world of ous. At least to the troops and some ppl of this world, the worlds of honor, justice arent discarded and still exists in their hearts.
Even back after Vietnam, the gov't denied that Agent Orange had any effect on the troops. Then more recently they claimed there was no Gulf War Syndrome :^(
