Powerplant on the MACK at 2:05 is a MACK E9 wich is a 998 cubic inches / 16 liter V8. It uses 3 Turbochargers. All MACK TRUCKS in the field use MACK DIESEL engines, except for the SILVER BULLET #2 wich has a big CUMMINS QSK-19, 6 cylinder 1,250 cubic inches, 19 liter. It is also good to know that some CUMMINS powered rigs in the series use the MACK 18 speed, triple countershaft transmission.

Thanks for posting this video. I am a huge ENTHUSIAST of this series and all things related to PULLING RIGS from the SUPER SEMI, MODIFIED SEMI, HOT ROD SEMI and STREET SEMI classes. I am from PUERTO RICO, so I can not see this in person (Maybe if I get my vacation by September, I could at least travel to see the finals) Do the guys in the PETERBILT (Sneeky Pete) and the guy in the SILVER BULLET Mack (BULLET 2) shift gears while making their run????? or is it that they loose boost?????
