Dan your lucky you found that buck. Last year I shot one even bigger, and he went and jumped into the Croton Resvoir. I believe I single lung shot him, as he was directly underneath my stand. Lots of blood, but it led right into the resvoir. He ran at leat 400-500 yds before jumping in. I went up and down that resvoir for 2 days trying to find him to no avail.That was the biggest buck I ever shot. I've also used Deer search once to find a 6 pointer, those little daschounds are truly amazing.

The teckel does a good job! The hunter didn`t. He had enough time to make a second and final shot.
