  • Thriller is a good song but if freddie was on it it would of been a whole lot better!

  • love Freddie and MJ .. both were equally AWESOME in their own ways as entertainers the likes of which we may never see in my lifetime ... true Legends ... miss them much

  • erm i can bend to your needs

  • Just enjoy in great music that Mike and Freddie live us !! R.I.P.

  • @kontaktseistrup

Do you ever read any biographical book about Freddie? lol

He called Jackson one of his favorite artists, so your words - just trolling.

  • MJ was the one to convince Freddie to put Another One Bites the Dust on the Game album. Turned out to be the best financial advice ever.

  • Music is more easily accessible today. It's also easier to keep track of what people listen to. There are much more polls availible at random that keep track of preferences. So it's really hard to tell if #1 of today is bigger than #1 from 20 years back. There are also significantly more people on earth today than when Freddie Mercury died. The population has more than doubled since the 60's.

Something that is not music is "rap".

  • Freddy?? Michael?? Perdon pero me quedo con freddy mil veces.. Queen manda en el mundo...

  • @pachy190 Yes

  • I miss them both terribly! We'll never see talents this big again!

  • @mltwin yeah we will EMINEM!

  • Now they're both gone...

  • Michael will never be like you Freddie. Queen's the Best.

  • Freddie is a far superior singer to Michael, but both of them are absolutely FANTASTIC artists in their own rights. Both are worthy of the positions they hold and record sales don't mean anything in terms of talent. It doesn't matter who is better, because regardless I love both of their works.

  • @JoeWise I am a fan of FM and queen but MJs voice was incredible.better than freddies I think.

  • Freddie the Power and Gods voice!!!

  • @JoeWise I agree but lets be reasonable Freddie is better singer.. Vocal, power, writting songs show stage performance(michael was good but not Freddie!)

    My opinion ,respect

Freddie was genius in his field!!!

Not even one can get close to his power an much more etc....

  • @TheMrMouth you cannot compare them, they were both great singer and musicians

It has no sense to make comparisons... its stupid, look at Michael's work and then to Freddie's, both were genius!

  • @TheMrMouth they had different strengths and the best singer isn't depending on who has the most "power" or whatever haha.

  • @barburas11 vocal power is obviously a factor when determining singing ability

  • michael and freddie on thriller i would have had to go clean up something in my pants

  • No one dances like Mike. NO ONE!

  • @SouthBendKE lol true

  • @SMF81 mike is a joke huh? thats why he out sold freddie mj 800m cds sold too freddie 400m cds !

  • @MrKareemRuiz lol do you actually take quality for record sales??? I pity you

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn mj is way better if not freddie would sell much more but he didnt sell more just saying

  • @MrKareemRuiz Yes of course, so the better one is the one who sells the most lol poor thing... this is sad

  • @MrKareemRuiz So Gaga is better than queen or MJ? Timebased sales says they are. Common sense sais they arent...

  • @MrKareemRuiz learn a thing or two about music please. If sales are what proves it then i'm guessing that the spice girls are better than beethoven. Idiot.

  • The last monday was the Michael Jackson's birthday, and today monday is the Freddie Mercury's birthday. My two idols in their birthdays in two mondays!. :)

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL JACKSON!! :)

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY FREDDIE MERCURY!! :)

  • the first time i see Freddie talking!

  • i wouldve liked to see freddie on thriller

  • @Z3kedog Me too !

  • Freddie and MJ are the two biggest Music legends

  • Sony has annouced that they are still going to release those 3 tracks they recorded together even though they werent finished. it will be on one of Michael Posthumous albums. i cant wait to here them.

  • wow i realy wish could hav been on thriller , lov freddie and i lov michael

  • "I was originally going to be on Thriller"

As if that record wasn't legendary enough haha.

  • @baergal yea it is ICON status

  • Freddie and MJ - two of my all time favorite entertainers - two of the best that ever did it - may they rest in peace - no others compare to these GIANTS in the entertainment business even today ....

  • I happen to like them both, but Freddie will always be my favourite one, always close to my soul, deep in my heart. I've always enjoyed his music and fantastic voice, ever since I was a child and later, in my "teenage nights". Currently, I am to figure out my love didn't fade away, but kept growing stronger and stronger. Bless your heart, Freddie!

  • @Lauryn1001 Im the opposite, Im for Michael, but they are both great entertainers in there own right Freddie is Iconic also

  • omg what song on thriller was he gonna be on? :O

  • My life would've been complete if the first single off Thriller would've been State Of Shock with the two of them.

  • <3

  • R.I.P. 2 of my favorite musicians: Freddie and Michael! <3

  • both my idiols both legends

  • When I hear Paul McCartney or Freddie Mercury talking about Mickael Jackson, I feel like MJ always thought about himself only, and it makes me not like him as a man.

  • @julcoh kinda get that impression after listening to lisa marie too

  • @shieldsuma yeah? what did she say?

  • @julcoh mainly describing the similarities between her dad and MJ. they were good at manipulating situations or people to get their way in their world. the interview she did on oprah's show touched on how MJ dealt with her, the possibility of them having kids and what sounded like an ultimatum if he didn't get what he wanted.

  • @julcoh i think that type of self centered-ness when dealing with celebrity worship has less to do with the actual person and more to do with their handlers who tend to empower way too often... but the handlers often have no choice. it's the "do what i want or get a new job" mentality.

  • @julcoh That's a joke right?!? Do you know ANYTHING about MJ? Because if you did, that is the LAST statement you would be making...

  • Very weird that these 2 icons are not here anymore :/

  • It would be nice if those three songs would be released.

  • @MJJFan01 They will be released soon

  • im glad freddie wasnt on thriller...just wouldnt have been "right"

    : /

  • rip freddie ans michel

  • Alright, after reading some comments, I feel it is my duty to share my knowledge. I know two of the songs which they are talking about. Their names are "There Must Be More to Life Than This", and an early version of "State of Shock"(Which ended up as a duet between MJ and Mick Jagger).

  • It would of been a mass genocide if Freddy was in triller. Every person who even half seen it would have their head explode by the shear epicness of it.

  • Word has it Queen (well, Brian & Roger) are working on finishing the songs now.

  • Freddie Mercury with Michael Jackson on Thriller would've been one of the most mind blowingly epic recordings of all time.

  • Where are those "three or four" tracks? Is someone somewhere hoarding them, were they destroyed? No matter how bad they are, they would go for serious money...

  • It would be so great to hear their duet. But they are with us only with their songs and their jobs...

  • Now they are both dead we'll never see Freddie on Thriller. Take your chances whilst you can. That would have been off the hook!

  • Come on Freddie don't sweat it, u did the right thing. The world couldn't handle u being on thriller. Epic would have been an understatement. lol

  • So sad and ironic. Two musical icons are gone. RIP, Freddie and Mike.

  • Can't wait to hear these songs! "State of Shock" is awesome!!!!

  • Freddie was almost on Thriller? That probably would've made Thriller even better. Paul McCartney, Eddie Van Halen, and Freddie Mercury. Pretty nice!

    RIP Freddie and Michael

  • @Jethrofinger not to mention Vincent Price Everett (cameo performance in the Thriller 'rap')

  • Freddy would have been a killer on Thriller. I could only imagine:) R.I.P .t o two great showman.

  • @LEAHCIM829 i know the 2 greatest singers in rock and roll.

  • Imagine it. The King of Pop and the Queen of Rock, that wouldve been amazing.

  • Queen and Tranqvillia are REAL music! not the GARBAGE of today.

  • @tod4y They actually did do a few songs together, although they officially remain unreleased. They're on Youtube, but I can't remember their names :S

  • I can hardly understand. Does he say that they planned to do some music together?

  • @tod4y State Of Shock is one of the songs Freddie recorded with Michael, but finally released with Jackson and Mick Jagger. The other one is "There must be more to life than this", in two versions: one sang by Freddie , the other one by Michael.

  • While idiots try to make a hateful situaiton here...they both respected each other truly. Something a pea brain narrow minded HATER would have no Clue about. Michael is a REAL singer as well...make no bones about it.

  • Lucky for us the whole Thriller thing didn't work out; the universe would've imploded in on itself from the insane levels of awesome.

... would've been totally worth it, though.

  • @redangellion I totally agree with you!!

  • Freddie was the REAL singer

  • Two Legends that were lost....

  • Awww poor mj:( we miss u.

  • Freddie on Thriller would be just perfect.

  • @Puzzley no. It would be a Queen album. Michael wrote the most songs by himself. And it's okay. Only Paul McCartney is on the album. Paul is not so dominat as Freddie. So you have a MJ album ^^

  • @KingCorny93 How? One song? Anything Freddie and Michael would of done would of been better then The Girl Is Mine, which is the worst song on the entire album imo.

  • he was respectful full stop.

  • He's very respectful when he talks about Michael Jackson!

  • Yep, I already heard that song. I wish they did more songs together, they are such great artists.

  • Freddie and MJ and two differen things ! Michael would NEVER be able to sing Freddie's songs and Freddie would NEVER be able to sing Michael's. They both thrilled millions with two DIFFERENT music styles. But DAAMN ! I've never got a damn chance to see them live or buy an album when it first same out =((

I keep watching them on YT and cry ... ;(

  • @xzinox1 you should hear "state of shock" the freddy mercury version with michael, its hot, two styles of music can always come together and form one, you know??

  • If u love Freddie & Michael at the same time n in the same way u win.. if not, u r a loser ;)

  • @imugly678 dude your so right

  • @IndianDickLantern hehe I know man.. more people need to be in tune with Bennett lol

  • Waaa 2 music genius!!!! Damn why when you search somebody to love it appears Justin Bieber and not Queen????

  • thank you popcornflakes, well said.

  • "Freddie is better- no, MJ is better - no freddie was..."

Don't you have anything else to do poeple?

They are two great artists in different ways, there's no comparison possible.

If you ask me i prefer Freddy Mercury 's music but MJ was talented too and a real entertainer, it's just a matter of taste, and no one here can argue about music preferences of each others

  • @popcornflakes agreed but these idiots have nothing better to do

  • MJ never pulled off a gig like Wembley 86

  • @PalatHar i love freddie but you have to know that Michael has played fifteen times at wembley ( 3 world tour (7 times at bad world tour ) ) !! my respect for these two legends

  • Had Queen and MJ given a performance together, that would've been the single GREATEST thing in the history of music

  • @blarnzz MJ music i find the songs he did all the same and boring after one song i get bored

  • @blarnzz true!!

  • freddie on thriller =P

  • I love Freddie and MJ.

  • problem freddy can sing better than him

  • @supermorshu Pshhht MJ can sing wayy better than Freddie

  • @lisamarie6599 no he can't

  • @lisamarie6599 yea he fuckin can

  • @lisamarie6599 You should know what yur talking about before you post a comment. When was yur last cat scan. I think there may be something wrong with yur brain. Freddie Mercury was and still is in death 100 TIMES the man Michael Jackson ever was. I'll carry that to the grave.

  • @15BJS Exuse Me. IDK if You Have been brainwashed or anything??

But Michael Jacksons songs acctually have meanings. And he is a

genours Person..maybee u need to look it up or something. And Think Before u say something. AND ILL CARY THAT TU URR GRAVE!

  • @lisamarie6599

MJ songs had meaning? what like thriller?

  • @JoshMufc101 We are the World. Man in the Mirror, Earth Song, Childhood, Stranger in Moscow ect.....

By the way, Freddy was a great man. Wish I was older to have seen him.

  • @15BJS nah, both are amazing

  • @lisamarie6599 No MJ can dance better \but i have yet to see ANYONE sing better than Freddie check out some of his live performances

  • cada entrevista que he visto que le hicieron a este hombre siento que todavia esta vivo uno de los mejores cantantes de todo el mundo

  • What is good vs what is bad depends on your own taste. I hardly ever hear Queen anymore, so it isn't being forced on anyone. They had a lot of good songs; so did the Sex Pistols. "nothing really matters' equals 'no future' to an objective listener. and i think if the fight had gone down between Sid and Freddy, i would put my money on Freddy. At least he wasn't an animal abuser.

  • @haciendavil It's funny I heard Queen in the nail salon just the other day -- Another One Bites the Dust. I think they will always be relevant. Surprisingly enough, I also heard Queen again at a local bar/restaurant trivia night I attended (again it was AOBTD). I was reminded that Michael Jackson was the one who encouraged (no, insisted) that Queen release AOBTD as a single in the U.S.. Queen sure was a bunch of truly talented individuals. A story that should be preserved. I hope it is.

  • stupid comparing the two..both are legends. freddie mercury on thriller would've been amazing though!!

    miss them both...

  • the King and Queen are in paradise ...and we are the people orphan who we cry!

rip...the best, gone too soon and always first

  • oh god, if he made it on thriller...thats mind blowing

  • I actually read something yesterday saying that MJ recorded over 100 songs before the final 9 were picked for thriller

  • I love them both, that would have been just an awsome dual of music genius. I would have like to seen the creativity they would have worked out in a music video. Hell....I love Paul but I think Freddie and Mike should have done "Say Say say" 2gether

  • Looks like someone doesn't believe in Freedom of Speech : (

    (Coment removed)

  • Woahhh I didn't know Freddie Mercury was gonna be on Thriller!!

  • both amazing <3

  • 0:03 Freddie Mercury once again defies the laws of vocal range and hits an E2 when he says "(a)go". This may not mean much to many, but that is the lowest note of a standard BASS singer. From a low E2 and F2 in speech and backing vocals, to powerful belts in the fifth octave, through head voice up to F5, falsetto to E6, and the crowning whistle scream in 1984 - on his birthday - on an F6.

4 octave man: (E2)-F2-F6. RIP FM

  • It's "magic!" lol

  • Freddie is "magic."

  • a video from 2005!

  • I hate those fake Mercury fans, talking wack about Michael Jackson, I mean if this man, lol.... on video talks about Thriller and sayin funnily, 'Can you believe I blew it',

that's means everybody knew, even Freddy.. that Michael Jackson was a God-like solo star already, uncomparable to Freddy ofcourse.. cause well I love Freddy's amazing talents just as much I love Michael's.

Both Legends and if you don't acknoledge that you have failed understanding the music of humanity.

  • @md0206

I respect both MJ and Freddie Mercury fans. But I hate the fan girls....those who say Freddie Mercury was ''good'' than continue on with the next sentence and say ''but MJ is way better.'' What??? Way better?? I bet they don't know who Freddie Mercury even was. He was as good as Mj, probably equally or slightly better, but anyone who isn't familiar with a person who they don't know, than they really shouldn't decide who's better until they find out who he/she is. You agree???

  • @KashiemStreetdude Yeah I agree and I'd like to up it a Notch, as a Michael Jackson and Queen fan, i'm convinced that both were uncomparable, Michael in his dancing and perfection and Freddy with his unbelievable aura of energy around him, inspiring people and his diamond voice.

No one is actually better then the other one, only if you would go to low things, like Michael was a way better dancer, yes he was, but then again Freddy had a better showmanship on him, worked with the crowd better. :)

  • Freddie if you were on thriller it would have sold much more than it did now ;)

  • i cried watching this...

freddie mercury talking about michael jackson and their times together

its sad..all the great voices are slowly fading away

many great singers passed and it seems as if none are coming in to take their place...the world is only filled with electronic fake music that takes no talent

    =/

    rip michael jackson

    rip freddie mercury

    rip ronnie james dio

the list goes on and on...

    =/

  • @socksworn Electronic music takes talent, it's just it's not that fun watching a man spending 100 hours behind a Mac Pro working in Logic Pro to create something.

It's a different time now, but never forgot, Michael Jackson, Freddy Mercury could never be what they were, if they didn't have their inspirations of things and that's how the cycle continues, don't be afraid for the new things, it's what Michael and Freddy made Legends cause they used that to get better.

    And don't disrespect other.

  • R.I.P Both Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury

  • @bijeleudovice2 I still like them both, though, and I don't think it's fair to say one was better than the other. They're both so great in their own rights!

  • Freddie on Thriller... I wonder what song he was referring to?

  • @chupchupchupnanny It was a song called State of Shock

  • @SholaMind21 Oh okay. So State of Shock and Victory are the only other songs Michael did with Freddie other than There must be more to life than This.

  • See, you really can't compare Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson in my opinion. Michael was more of a pop star (King of Pop) while Freddie + Queen were more operatic rock. They are both great in their respective styles, and if life was perfect, they'd both still be around to give us the great music we loved. RIP Freddie and Michael.

  • The only thing more epic than Sean Connery and Harrison Ford tied with each other, is Freddie Mercury speaking about working with Michael Jackson and praising his work and vice versa(I think).

The world would blow up if that actually happened, but God could not allow it, cause he wanted them to perform for him, so he instead took them home one by one, because only a place bigger then the Universe can handle the epicness these 2 legends form.

  • @neutralhero999 you are right....

  • did he say he 'blew' it---? poor guy~

  • @BigBearVids he was initially gonna be in triller and he miss it. SO probably he has a lot more important things right ahead of him.

  • @mjfanforever2010 Mike's music is all over Hank Williams music right...Are you smokin' crack?

  • @rwaggs62 No, but you're a moron and you obviously don't know Michael's impact. Which is larger than Mercury's.

    Need the country artists?

Joe Nichols, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Jimmy Wayne, Chuck Wicks, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts(who were one to say he inspired them with his music).. need more?

Ask these artists how they feel about Michael Jacksons legacy. He is the King. Point blank period. His music transcends genres.

  • im reading the comments hear and theres a lot a feddie fans saying michael was just a good artist and so on ill just let you know this michael was the greatest human being to ever live , second to jesus of course

  • @mj10013 but...are you right now comparasing Michael Jackson to Jesus man? seriously?

  • @M4T1TTUDE their extremly close if you compare them ...

  • @mj10013 Well, where Michael's at now I am pretty sure Jesus is not...Comparing Jackson to God is very twerpy of you to say...

  • @rwaggs62 whats that meant to mean ? " where Michael's at now i am pretty sure jesus is not "

  • LONG LIVE THEM BOTH IN OUR HEARTS

  • @ Snow: Dirty Diana? Tell me you ever listened to Hard Rock, because it actually doesn't seem....

  • @MatchPoint93 dirty diana is rock, but not hard rock

  • dec. 24 2005?

     wow!

  • 900th like.

  • trolls are on here arguing as usual.

  • freddie got fingered.

  • Freddie and Michael are the GREATESTS artists in the Music Industry !!!

  • freddie actually had a 6 octave range... just saying

  • freddy mercury actually wrote his music and played instruments piano and guitar so its no contest, michael did not write much in the early days which is his good stuff, later he did though and wah wah waaaahh.............. its was crap. Thriller "his masterwork" was an album meant to revive the record industry so lots of talented people were involved Quincy Jones mega producer, Eddie Van Halen etc. I know michael was a good singer but Freddie was too both had a four octave range

  • @85mariapatricia wow. he wrote most of his song. of his hit makers Billie jean and beat it. yeah he had quincy with him but we saw many artists with great producers. at the end of the day it is up to you how u put it in a sho. which MJ's is spectacular. any way Freddie is amazing and legend. Actually freddie have 6 octave range , MJ at 5 . only Mariah Carey holds at 7 octaves. but they are the best. Rip

  • @helenfly1 They can have all the octaves in the world, but there was never a better "ROCK & ROLL" singer than Freddie Mercury...

  • @rwaggs62 i can't argue with that Bro. he is the best. people say shit about him. but he was/is still a legend.

  • @ Match: what about Dirty Diana?

  • I didn't say MJ wasn't amazing.. I just think Freddie is unbelievable...

and I'm sorry but Beat it and Black or White were not HARD ROCK...

  • @MatchPoint93 dirty diana

  • sorry but Freddie and MJ are both AMAZING so please stop saying which one is better and tbh if you aint forgotten MJ also done rock music check the songs beat it and black and white both hard rock songs

  • I liked both equally

  • Freddie for life....

Yes, MJ was a great artist, but he wasn't such a singer as Freddie...

He could not sing all kinds of music, and do all the unbelievable things Freddie's done...

Just think of all genres Freddie sang.... You we'll see, who is an excellent entertainer and then a good singer, and who is A GREAT SINGER AND AN EXCELLENT ENTERTAINER...

Sorry for bad english! From Italy..

  • MJ and Freddie gawt it on?
