Some drummers can play basic but in a lot variations so that you have a unique sound indentity, This guy - he has to bang his head like this to make up the boringness of his drummings..
@triplesaber i don't think he's boring. some drummers chose to play simple drum patterns to give the song a simplistic feeling, but this guy knows how to put energy in the parts that require it. not every drummer has to play very difficult/technical stuff just to show they can. especially when the song doesn't require it. another example of simple drum patterns in awesome music: pixies's david lovering.
