there are those transformational moments in time, and seeing tom waits fourth row center stage in paris was one of those moments. i am thankful to elena t. for selling me the extra ticket. she could have chosen someone from her native country who spoke her native tongue, but she choose me, a crazy american from california who came to europe primarily to see mr. waits in paris. Thank you elena, merci beaucoup!!!

Only reason this bit works is because the band is right on. Seth Ford Young [bass] is the key player in making it work. Tom has the physical agili... oh heck, you know, he looks GOOD.

great to see this kind of close up clarity without any overexposure...wonderful. Some other shows of him doing this have a bit more energy and audience reaction. Here's the real deal, though. SInce he's been on this tour for a while his hair coloring has faded, and it's starting to look like his real color first time I've noticed that on these youtube tour videos....faded like mine...
