I am so sorry that you hate all whites, I am white american woman but I absoultly HATE what the US government have done to the Lakota and all Native populations. There are a lot of white people that would come to your aid if you every called. There would be thousands possible millions. We all know of the injustices done by our governments. I wish I could have been born 150 years ago. Maybe we could have stopped the destruction before it started. Don't hate us all! Some really wish to stand by you
I am a white woman from Europe. We, common people are not happy here, I hate all the governments and institutions, I am disgusted at the pollution I see everywhere and the violence and aggression rising in still younger men. I wish I could have lived in those times when Indians lived in harmony with nature and in peace...I am terribly, terribly sorry for all the white European men and their idiotic religions have done to you, Indians...
Thankyou for your words, there will come a time soon when all the honorable people of this earth will cry out for the justice our people deserve. That time is almost near! We will need your voice my friend!
same here - this is why I left Europe and went to South America. I want to give, not receive all the time. Whites destroy as if this was their destiny - but it was their choice instead! We have to break this circle of death and start working together as the brothers and sisters we are - to save this world, mother earth
I am a full blooded oglala sioux woman and i want to be more involved with my people because i dont trust white people who stole our land from years and years ago. But We Will Rise Again !!!
we must look beyond the colour of our skins or the tribes from which we came- remember there are good whites just as there are bad first nations. we all are connected--this is called: the-spirit-that-moves-through-all-things. we cannot know love until we know hurt and pain just as without night we would not appreciate day.. .Nature is the creators only church. return to "wilderness mind" forgive those who have hurt you-- re-learn ways that are lost. All good medicine- Oglala Sioux woman
Well said! How can we seek leaders who destroy and divide. God, Great Spirit, or The Creator we know does not employ the prideful, greedy, and murderous man to do His will. The Lakots is the "original man". I believe the Lakotas walked with God in the Ancient days and they are very deep on a spiritual level. Anybody watching this obviously has been examining their own hearts!!
beautiful and meaningful, so refreshing as opposed to the ugliness that is so prevelant in today's society. what a lesson we could learn, if only hearts would open, from the native culture. one of humility, character, bravery, discipline, compassion.
shame, shame on this government and people of this country who refuse to acknowledge and help. i am part lakota, not enought to be "counted", but enough to appreciate the lakota spirit. thank you again.
crowof death-your reply brought tears to my eyes...i have tried for so long to fit in to the "white" religions...nothng ever seemed right...i now have a very good cree friend who has guided me and now i feel i understand where i belong. so beautifully simple and clear...along with some "whisperings" in my family and my great great grandfather buried in nebraska in a lakota cemetary...that is all we know at this point.i feel no need to dig further...because i know in my heart that i am LAKOTA.
Very beautiful. This is how people should think. "We belong to the Earth, the Earth does not belong to us." That's a very well done and meaningful video. ^^
Let's have it the other way around for a change: instead of Christians wanting to convert Indians in order to "save their pagan souls from eternal damnation", let the World for once learn from them how to take care of the Earth. Beautiful video, Zacuan! Love it!
I watched your KOTA posting, and it is one of the most important messages out there. A future generation of wise and gifted people will be in jeopardy if suicide on this scale continues in Rosebud. Because the Lakota hold onto their traditions and heritage so strongly, they are made to suffer under the stranglehold of an oppressive government. We need to give the future back to the Lakota, and BEG for their forgiveness.
Applause, brilliant zacuan! Not difficult to read at all, I sure would have liked to see this on tv. I am smiling like a proud mother at your accomplishments, for this wonderful production and for having it featured in a format that your work so deserves. ~Barb

Very beautiful!
So simple, but so powerful and true!
Why do so many people make thing complicated?
Bigger do not always mean better.
We are truly all connected and I find it unfathomable that so many people do not get it.
There are so many different denominations of the same religions of the world.
I believe we all worship the same Greatspirit,(G-d) and I find it very disturbing and
selfish that people twist and distort things to fit their needs, they believe their way it the only right one.

Beautiful!
The Turtle Island Project here in Michigan recently arranged for a free benefit concert for the Lakota White Buffalo Calf Women Society in Mission SD
The WBCWS is battling teen suicide on the Rosebud Reservation.
Sadly the stats are even worse than in the news video I posted from KOTA TV.
In 2 years - over 600 teen suicide attempts - 15 deaths at Rosebud alone.
If this were happening in a white community is would be national news.
