Everyone who gets this e-mail needs to listen up. Let's see if we can get into the newspaper for this. On February 22 let's everyone wear a blue shirt. I don't care what shade of blue it is. If youre a kid pass this along to all your friends. If you go into a chat room tell everyone there to tell their friends. If your an adult pass this to all your friends, and tell everyone at work about it. I'm using the power of e-mail for this. mar
Yep. Quoting Smalls here, the amount of levels that can be generated by it is the amount of atoms in the universe times 7 (although I haven't checked myself, so you'll have to believe him on his word).
@meisdddfreak Yeah it's fun to marvel at exponentials and everything, but how many of those levels are distinct in an interesting way? Starting at static on a TV screen would let you experience a googolplex of different images of static. They're all technically different, from one second to the next. And yet, who cares?
His actually uses a very different format than my own. His works with map16, while mine uses the games original objects and actually builds a different level each time, rather than changing the map16 block map. Makes me think I went about this the hard way...
Did I ever say such a thing? All I said was people should also see Smallhackers vanilla contest. And it is not like Notch had the "idea" of random levels for the first time in the world four years ago.
Oh god don't tell me there are Notch fanboys.

@chdata So he had the "idea" first? You mean he's Markus Persson a.k.a Notch who made Infinite Mario Brothers, more than 4 years ago?
