What makes this really sad is that my mother was a Lacoix who had a First Nations mother. My mother who would not speak French and would only speak English. Her answer the french are not polite. The problem with this idea is that I am french and I am also native and I never grew up in Quebec I am from Ontario. I can not speak french and if I go to some parts of Quebec I need a gas can as I know they will purposely not serve the English. This is an oxymoron for me as a human being.
