In the US flamingoes have been made fun of in cartoons, Disney movies, in lawn ornaments. They have been ridiculed so when ppl see this they are impressed.
But pink flamingoes are wading birds, which means they find their food underwater that's why they have this bill like a deep spoon that shovels the mud when their head is inverted underwater, and those long legs.
They are also migratory birds. This video shows they are deprived of both water to wade in and flight.
I agree. Was thinking the same thing. Moreover flamingoes tend to act in group, and don't need to be trained to "march" together. At breeding time they march back and forth, it's stunning and mysterious. Lots of them in the South of France region called Camargue.
Too bad ppl can't appreciate an animal that is acting its natural self. If a parrot can't talk they're not interested. A parrot can play golf, then they are interested, but the natural bird, they yawn.
You heard, I'm sure, that they clip the birds'wings.
To see truly beautiful pink flamingoes in the wild, search for "flamands rose" which is Fench (misspelled, it should be flamants with a T but ppl spelled it like that) and you'll forget this lousy clip.
That fat lady was like: "mmm... Strawberry chicken wings"

rrr for god sake the poor things. They are not trained they are just running from a human which is a natural thing for a flamingo who cant fly.

I've seen chickens do similar things, its probably less training and more natural behaviour.
