  • @MikeeDwyer hey Mike, what's the difference between the horizontal and vertical way of making music in Ableton? cause in Fl Studio it only had one view and that was the horizontal way.

  • @0019930418 I think Ableton is the only DAW that has this session view option. Basically, when you're in (what you called) "vertical mode" (session view) you have clips that you can play and stop as you go, as opposed to the arrangement view where everything is placed and set on a timeline - ie. there's no moving things around.
