The fan in me wants to connect to new information we learn in the other games. I feel like Xemnas was fully aware of both Terra and Xehanort's memories. However, because he was a nobody, he could no longer feel the "good" emotions that Terra would have had - instead realizing that his only option as a nobody and transcendence into a full human again, was through Kingdom Hearts. His memories of Xehanort would show him the method of how to do so.

The characters in this new one don't seem as deep. They seem one dimensional. They seem to have one goal or idea, and that's it. It just doesn't feel like it has that charm in it that the other two did. Maybe that's the lack of Sora and Riku.

Heh, you can actually view the entire plot of Kingdom Hearts 2 as a couple of self-righteous spoiled brats chosen by an incredibly powerful force to be heroes... who then proceed to slaughter an organization of beings who lack emotions, and therefore the capability to truly discern or feel guilt/remorse for their actions. Actions that are so that they might obtain the means to feel guilt and remorse once again.

Meanwhile, Sora and Co. write them off as trash as they haphazardly kill them all.

I want spoil BBS,but I will say that there's a TRUE mastermind behind the evil things that has gone on in the series. The new trio of heroes and the org members( except for one bastard ) need to get their revenge and redemption. They were all just living at the wrong place at the wrong time especially Isa( Saix), and Lea( Axel). They and five of the apprentices did not deserve to get turned into nobodies. Their lives, the trio's, and the worlds were RUINED by one man( with some help) :)

@magic08: I think I know the mastermind but please tell me if im wrong. THIS IS A SPIOLER! The mastermind behind the organization started back in BBS: Aqua. She saved Master Xehanort (main antagonist of BBS) fused with Terra (giving him the gold eyes and silver hair) from the darkness. Soon, he was founded by Ansem The Wise to be his scientist, Xehanort. When Xehanort released his heart, he created a Heartless (Ansem), and a Nobody (Xemnas). So, unfortunately, Aqua is to blame for the crisis.

Well, many of them are going to be in KH: BBS (all of the ones who were apprentices of Ansem), so I hope they have a side story involving Axel, Siax, Larxene, and the other later members. At least Xigbar will play an important role, since there was a cutscene in 358/2 days that proved he knew Ventus.
