@angoose762 1)Yeah u can change the sound of incoming messages: u go to preferences==> general. Inside general u have sound of incoming messages and there's a list of sounds but u can add u own sound by clicking add/delete then browse for the one u want to add.

2) u can chose how often Mail collects u e-mail. go to preferences==> general. then u can find collect e-mails manuallay or every minute or every 5 mns ou or 15 or 30 or every hour.
