In 1961 I went to Europe as a High School graduation present.I discovered Los Machucambos while hanging out in the bars and dives of Amsterdam. I managed to buy original 45RPM records of both La Bamba / Duerme Negrito( Omega #70-618) and Pepito/ Negra Maria Esther( Decca # DL25046), I still have both records. Watching the videos certainly brought back some great memories.

Great & Excellent performing of La Bamba by Julia, Ramono & Rafael... Although Julia is RIP the music of Los Machucambos will go on and continue forever...and you can see it on this video...they really perform like a team...and from 1961 untill You Tube in 2009...they must have been very good for doing so...otherwise it wouldn't be possible
