You don't die directly from using steroids, but you will undoubtedly develop serious complications as a result, and die later. Of course, it depends on the dosage and duration of use. In the case of olympics, the only way it would be okay to use steroids is if everyone used them. It's just like performing research. You must reduce as many limitations and control as many variables as possible. That way the validity of the results are higher. So in essence, your statement makes no sense.

It should be okay no matter what, and I'm pretty sure EVERYONE in the Olympics take them otherwise they wouldnt be there. It happens too often my friend ! Armenia has now supicously 9 gold medals, something they never achieved before, so I think they use doping too ! Especially one Armenian guy lifted almost 30 kg more than his personal record, which is very uncertain in weightlifing !
