Why did they not learn to grow food first? Why did they not bring shelter that could be set up quickly? Or blankets? I feel for them, but it was badly planned. HALF of them died the first winter.

These are all the reasons the Pilgrims should have listened to Captain John Smith, who told them not to set sail when they did (among other things that they ignored). He later wrote with compassion about their sufferings, but pointed out that they had reaped what their "willful" natures had sown. And that was just the start of their "willfulness."

You know that Pilgrims have nothing to do with thanksgiving. I mean alot of people in the colonies at that time celebrated thanksgiving when the harvests came in by FASTING. Also the Pilgrams made up about 30% of the people on the Mayflower and other ships, the only people were looking to settle a colony near a pre-existing colony. The Pilgrims colony was eventually swallowed up by the puritan New England colony, and the Thanksgiving holiday that we know of was created in the 1800s

I think you've misunderstood what I'm saying. The Pilgrims were not the first colonists to land in what is now known as the U.S.A, other colonists already existed there and they celebrated Thanksgiving by fasting for religious perpouses after the crops came in. By "swallowing up" I mean that eventually the pilgrim colony was claimed by the Massechusets colony which was Puritan, like I said most of the colonists at Plymouth were not Pilgrims so being part of the other colony was ideal

actually what we know as the Pilgrims were the Puritans (not swollowed up by them) They were part of the puritans in England that sought to reform the church of England. This group chose to longer try and reform the church. The chose to separate from the Church of England. So they came to be known as the Separatist. They had the same theology as the Puritans but thought it was better to separate from the influence of false teachings.

There isn't anything secret about it. WWI and WWII were remarkably bloody and caused by bad philosophy. Yes, murders under communist regimes were carried out by whack job dictators. Communism is the philosophy that absolute rule by a dictator is good. Since this is a whack job philosophy, anyone who espouses it is a whack job.

So far, nothing you have said makes any sense. WWII was caused by fascists under a dictator rule - not a f*cking philosophy. Communism has nothing to do with dictatorships. They are two distinct animals. Of course, none of this is surprising coming from someone who believes that all humans deserve eternal damnation and that God favors Christians. Christians are responsible for more murders than anyone. I have yet to find evidence of Whalt Whitman or another transcendalist being a serial killer.

WWII was caused by US entrance into WWI and Communists taking over Russia. This was caused by liberal philosophy from people like Walt Whitman. Just read Woodrow Wilson for five seconds. Also, read the Blythedale Romance by Hawthorne to get a clear view.  Horace Greeley, an atheist minister, introduced Communism to America. Communism is the philosophy that absolute rule by a dictator is good. Whoever told you otherwise is a liar.
