  • Script writer died.......

  • great lyrics

  • the best one is moonraker

  • SLAPPERS ONLY

  • one of the best bond films inspired theme song and scenario but enough talk video speaks i give a 9.0

  • thank you.

  • is there an instrumental to this. that intro to the song is one the best dramatic pieces of music ever. so much power in it

  • Christopher Lee is a great villain, Maybe because he plays mostly bad guys in his movies.

  • Top Bond Villains:

    1.) Franz Sanchez

    2.) Francisco Scaramanga

    3.) Max Zorin

    4.) Alex Trevelyan

  • @thegeets1881 sorry, but that should read:

    1) Auric Goldfinger

    2) Dr. Julius No

    3) Alec Trevelyan

    4) Karl Stomberg

    5) Emilio Largo

  • 6) Ernst Stavro Blofeld

    7) Kananga aka Mr. Big

    8) Aristotle Kristatos

    9) Francisco Scaramanga

    10) General Georgi Koskov

  • @painlessissuicide interesting that you fail to include Max Zorin..

  • @thegeets1881 Christoher Walken is great, but that movie sucked so bad...

  • Great movie love the theme, love to wear gold hope it was pure 24 carat gold ha ha.

  • The one girl stroking herself is so damn hot.

  • It sucks that the best bond villains always have to be in the movies people generally dislike. Like Scaramanga in this one or Max Zorin in A View to a Kill.

  • I think this movie has been unfairly singled out as a bad one, which is unfortunate. Personally, I find this one just as wonderful and magical as all other films in the series.

  • Oh, and innuendo aside, Golden Gun had one saving grace: Christopher Lee as probably the best Bond villain of the lot. Pity Scaramanga wasn't kept back for a better film.

  • I completely agree Lee was brilliant as Scaramango but I thought Max Zorin was the best Bond villain

  • Love the innuendo-laden lyrics. I've always thought they are hilarious. "Who will he bang?" indeed! It's Bond doing Carry On. As for the clearly over-excited Maurice Binder, these pre-title credits have to be some of his most suggestive ever: as well as a possible camel toe from the woman dancing in the sparkly flames (1:39 onwards, could be my imagination - probably is), check out 1:26 onwards. Honestly, Matron!!

  • Not a big fan of this movie, but the theme is pretty good.

  • but the final showdown between the two is classic. The image of scaramanga and bond about to duel is one of the most popular bond images around.

  • Roger Moore, the BEST Bond by Far..!!!!

  • live and let dies my fave. but this songs really good

  • great film my favorite Moore film, not much praise but its a good one. I wish Scaramanga had just been a wealthy assassin though.

  • great song great movie and even greater performance by the amazing christopher lee!!!

  • This is my personal favourite bond movie

  • Poor Bond film with a reasnoble enough theme song and nice looking locations. The only memorable moment from the film is the famous bridge stunt.

  • I think TMWTGG was the first of the truly poor Bond films, apart from Lee's inspired portrayal of Scaramanga, there's very little to salvage from it.

  • @vordman

which is why they re-imagined the whole franchise with The Spy Who Loved Me. Saw it on tv when I was 7 or 8 years old and for me that was the defining James Bond movie.

Scaramanga was a good villian and a whole lot more developed than he was in the novel. I always liked:"There's an useful four letter word and you're full of it!"

  • @vordman up until then Sean Connery was the only good James Bond,007

I was not too fond of Roger Moore in this movie, of course we all have our own taste

    Sir David

  • not the best title song.

  • "Man With the Golden Gun" grew on me. "Octopussy," "Quantum" and "Die Another Day," on the other hand, just try way too hard (though "All Time High" and (most of) "Another Way to Die" are at least listenable).

  • Lulu is giving her all for this theme she must have realised what a big job she had on her hands.

  • She had a sore throat at the time; how could she be giving her all?

  • Oh I am so sorry I didnt know the finer details of when she recorded the song, still that does not mean she didnt force herself to do a good job its Bond after all not everybody gets asked to do it.

  • Well, considering they chose her, when she had a sore throat, the producers must not have thought much of it at the time.

  • "he cums just before the kill", that's awesome

  • its "IT comes before the kill" as in the "love"

  • I think it's... Ahhhh, I'll let you have your fun.

  • @ncpath12 people need to get their minds out of the gutter

  • Lulu rocks!!! This song is superb!

  • Lulu totally rules!!

  • me2!!!

  • just waiting to be remixed. the openning is awesome, the best of all the bond songs. this has techno written all over it.

  • Sean Connery was the best still is today

  • Yeah! THE BEST BOND EVER.

  • you can't be serious!

this is easily one of the worst bond films and it has one of the worst songs

  • I agree it is a little weird, but I think the majority of the people find it good. I like Die Another Day, but Quantum of Solace SUCKED. I agree with you on that! :D

  • Does the girl at :38 to 1:07 have a thong on?

  • Based on my computer screen, I would say, uhhhhhh...No.

  • im surprised nobodys posted a COD4 vid with golden weapons with this song in the background

  • Totally one of my fave Bond songs beside A View To A Kill. Roger Moore is the best.

  • a very good song

  • Whoa. Lots of easy accessible nudity in this one. Were the credits supposed to cover anything up? Lol.

  • one of my fav bond movies

  • Where's the credits?

  • not any, he posted all the james bond beginning without it. THIS is kewl.

  • Ahhhh.....Scaramanga

  • James Bond has been marked for death by the world's greatest assassin: Francisco Scaramanga, The Man with The Golden Gun, but despite his license to kill, 007 is no assassin, and on finding Scaramanga in the sultry heat of his remote island, he decides to infiltrate the killer's hideout — and realizes that he will have to take him out as swiftly as possible. Otherwise 007 might just be the next on a long list of British Secret Service numbers retired by The Man with The Golden Gun...

  • Thanks for posting. This movie was so entertaining :) Every credit to sir Roger Moore and his light hearted interpertation of Bond.
