great video :-) only one coment. I preffer to teach my gymnast to fall bacwards with straight legs before bending the knees into a sitting position. In this way of teaching the knees are never in front of the toes. In my opinion when teaching round-off backhandspring the knees should be as close to straight as posible in the transition from the round-off into the backhandspring :-)
your videos are great! Keep them coming! The one you posted about jumping to the high bar just helped one of our newest team members (she came from another gym with a huge fear of the jump) get over her fear and is now doing full level 5 routines!! Thanks so much for the great drills!
Yes, I am. Since more often than not they will be doing a BHS out of a RO (on floor) I prefer to teach it from the position they should be in at the end of a RO (which is, they should have gotten their body rotated off their hands and around such that their feet are now in front of them when they contact the floor). I also prefer not to teach any arm swinging, as I think the girls tend to drop their chest forward and then throw their heads down/back just to make it around.
Great video and some awesome drills! Very helpful for out flip flop clinic picking and choosing through your ideas!
