Ooh, I loved this soundtrack. Favourite songs "The Opening" (visually where the death eaters are wrecking havoc over London", and "Into the Rushes" the song over the scene at the Burrow with the Weasley's, Harry, and the Death Eaters, the scene that's not in the book. Also "Wizard Wheezes" this song is on the ST, but a different song is in the film. Does it remind anyone else of "The Cat in the Hat' music??

Malfoy was great in The Half Blood Prince. Constantly seemed to be walking down dark corridors by himself...Love the bit where Snape slams him against the wall...Can't remember the line something like...'There's fear in your heart Draco...You're scared!' The cinematography and music in that scene is filled with such pathos...I want to see more of that in the final film. Great stuff overall!

'The Friends' is also great! I like 'the Slug party' and 'the Story begins'. 'When Ginny kissed Harry' is beautifull and sounds a little mysterious. I think the music fits to the story. It's also less sad.

Ok now that I've listened to it a few times, I am part;y taking back my words. It isn't awful. Yet still some things feel terribly out of place (I already had that feeling with Order of the Phoenix as well) and it still hasn't got that magical Potter feeling... But no doubt it sounds pretty nice, "Dumbledore's Farewell"" sounds very well. I just really, really hope Hooper has put some melody's of the old movies in that song so we automatically think back about them during the scene it's made for

Wow, Hooper has done it again! "Dumbledore's Farewell" was heart wrenching and gorgeous, "Inferi in the Firestorm" had the most amazing choir piece, the beat in "Of Love & War" was phenomenal, "The Friends" was so similar to the game soundtracks but still blew me away, "The Slug Party" was hilarious, "The Story Begins" was refreshing and a nice change from the same old same old, "The Weasley Stomp" is so fun, "When Ginny Kissed Harry" sounded almost too sad but still gorgeous.

I love the fact that "Ginny" resembles the "original" Harry theme. It just proves the fact that they are meant to be. Ginny is a part of Harry, and so she should share his theme. Oh my, I sound sappy. Ah, well, I'm all about the fluff!

Yeah, its one of the few really original sounding ones on the soundtrack from what i've heard. A lot of what i'm hearing reminds me of the 5th soundtrack (which isn't a good thing, just a lot of repitition) especially with all those violin/high string parts.

Before I redeem this song, as I am not the only person who wants it in my house, I would like to know some details about it.
