Tim Ball is a fraud. He is not a climatologist and has been paid by the oil and gas industry to act on their behalf. He tried to sue the Calgary Herald when they made this public and he was not successful.
The transcripts are available online if you think I'm lying
It oil/petro industry actually funds the crazies -- aka uneducated climate change deniers. They put people like Tim Ball on their payroll and have been financing these morons for years.
Look it up. Tim worked for Friends of Science, a group that continuously receives money from Exxon
Error 1. Dr Tim Ball has never been a climatologist, no qualifications as such. He did hold the Geography professorship at U.Winnipeg for 8 years at one stage.
...3) We need to address our gross over fshing of the worlds oceans, this is disturbing the balance of life in the ocean.
4) We need to find our species' critical mass, and start to adress overpopulation.
5) Every single person needs to plant a food forest, or other organic permaculture garden.
6) we need to immediatly re-evaluate our current farming practices and attempt to eliminate harmful pesticides, herbicides, monocropping, soil compaction, and salt based fertilizers.
I must say that co2 cannot by itself hurt anything at all. We are being brainwashed with co2 emission scares in order to detract from the real problems we are faceing today. More co2 means that more co2 will be consumed by plants and plankton. what we need to worry and focus on is simple: 1) We need to drasctically curb and eliminate deforestation.
2) We need to address the 6 floating plastic islands that are trash collected by sea currants. these are changeing the ph of the oceans...
Scientists apply for grants to fund their research. They don't get to pocket the money. To get new grants they have to show where the money goes. Do you have any idea how science works?
Name a specific lie. . He works at Friends of Science which is funded by the oil industry. The president of Talisman Oil paid for their 22 min video. The U of C will no longer allow Friends of Science to use the U of C as a cover anymore. There is a court case ongoing and the information is available online. Are you so naive that you think oil companies are going to pay for any "research" that is bad for them. What research has Ball done on climate change? Published?
"[The money's] not exclusively from the oil and gas industry," says Prof. Cooper. "It's also from foundations and individuals. I can't tell you the names of those companies, or the foundations for that matter, or the individuals."
When pushed in another interview, however, Prof. Cooper admits, "There were some oil companies." from Globe and Mail
Ball's expenses are paid for by the FOS, therefore Ball works for OIL.
Stating that something is a lie doesn't make it so.
This an blokes idiotic PR stooge. He heads two organisations which are obviously PR shells. The lanauage used like usurp is carefully selected to promote conspiracy and machivellian intrigue for crazies. Don't pay no attention to this. The taxpayer logo should also ring alarm bells that cotent is intensly distorted or biased. To take this seriously is to declar to the world 'Here I am world, a fucking idiot'.
Her, cher... if you REALLY want to follow the money, check out the 13 million UK pounds the clown heading CRU got from the British government over the last few years.
The people who are REALLY getting rich on this scam are the climate alarmists.
FX gets his defamatory information from the putrid site Desmog. Tim.. I know personally and he does not work for the Oil Industry. You are a bold face liar!
I am neither 19 nor 47. I am not an atheist. An expert, which Ball asserts himself, does not lie and make up stuff. If it turns out that the scientists at CRU are guilty then they are not worth listening to. That would not invalidate the actual research of the 1000's of other climate scientists in the rest of the world. Where are the mistakes in what I said about Ball. I will remove them if proven wrong.
Okay. The only part of the atmosphere industrial man can affect is the stratosphere--the ground to the top of the weather systems. In this layer, CO2 comprises about 2% of greenhouse, of which only 4% is caused by man. CO2 is not a powerful forcing agent--it has a logarithmic, not an exponential effect on greenhouse. This means the more CO2 you add, the less affect it has on greenhouse. Therefore, C02 increasing greenhouse and warming the planet is impossible. It's a sham.
Tim Ball works for the oil industry. A friends of science he is not. He has lied about his resume, he was not a climate professor for 28/32 years at the U of W. He was not Canada's first climate scientist. He has never published in a climate journal. His PhD thesis was "A preliminary analysis of weather information of the Hudson's bay company forts at York Factory and Churchill Factory 1714-1850"
For clarity and logic's sake, could you please elaborate here? With which of Tim's assertions in the video do you disagree? From my reading of the leaked e-mails and computer codes, I think Tim's assertions in the video correspond with reality.
I know yor correct fx, most of these sceptics are paid by PR shell thinktanks in which to distort public opinon. Fred Singer who seems to get on all British networks again is paid in this way. But those want to believe him doesn't let that stop them.
All the personal attacks towards Dr. Tim ball with these reviews - speaks volumes!

It's fascinating to see all you city people looking out the windows of your apartments and pretending to know something about natural processes.
You don't know anything about it, unless you saw it on TV.

Beside what does that have to do with science?
The David Suzuki foundation do get Donations from the oil industry and is fine with that. So what is your point?
