First: Turn the hand over and let go, don't vice grip that shit so every one knows you are safe guarding your reveal. Secondly you never say "Its really fair" and you never say it in an apologetic tone. If you want to emphasize fairness there is better patter to use. Book test was weak. One word hits harder then four page numbers any day of the weak plus the bookmark gag at the end enforces the idea in the mind of the audience that it was definitely forced. Bad routining. But you are a good :)

@BaByCatXD fair enough. just wanted to point it out that over the years i have been doing this i realized that later on the day or week, people tend to use the words you have used to describe the trick in the patter to tell their friends.

then again we might have different approaches :)
