  • This is suppose to be Lahmacun ? Man you are way off! It just looks nasty, you basically salted some ground meat and put it on some dough.

  • Bu yemek çok seviyorum!

  • well ,all u he did was ,wraped the cooked mince beef into tortilla bread, thats not lahmacun,l have no idea why did you do something like that because lahmacun is no where near of that,l am from london if anybody is from london they should try ''antepliler'' lahmacun it is the best one in london,it is in harringay.dont belive the craps like this it will just put you off.....

  • thats everything but no lahmacun (turkish pizza)

  • OK THIS IS SOO WRONG BUDDDYYY!!!! THIS IS GHETTO AND BOOTLEG LAHMACUN!!!

  • Buritoya benzemis

  • I'm Turkish laymacun is arab sounds like it but baklava and dolma doner kebab is turkish so is borek you cant argue there.

  • lahmacundan baska herseye benziyor,,cok kötü yahu..ne hamuru yapabilmisler nede lahmacuna benzeyecek bir sey ortaya cikartabilmisler..birde paylasmislar...gidin kumda oynayin.

  • haters gonna hate :) yalnız şunu lahmacun diye koymuşsunuz ya, ayıp etmişsiniz.

  • You don't fry the mince when you making lahmacun..

  • oğlum cem senin tam beyninin orta yerine sıcıyım o ne lan öyle

  • You can only get real lahmacun's in the turkish bakery

  • that's everything but a lahmacun^^ LOL I one time made a lahmacun, without knowing how but it turned out so much better than that. Lahmacun is arabic not turkish.

  • Nice video.

  • Where you guys stoned when you made this

  • Lahmacun is not Turkish

Its a dish from Arab origin even the name Lahmacun is arabic lahm=bread acun=meat in arabic

  • @tigerik And?

  • @tigerik Fuck u Syria is Arabic and Turkey is friends whit them etc. got it in turkey we speak al lil bit arabic maybe only the name is arabic you bitch

  • @kabadayi333

you have issues, pleae go see the doctor and make sure you take lots of lahmacun with you knowing that it comes from arabic origins hahah once again lahm=bread cun=meat all arabic :) now enjoy eating your lahmacuns at your doctors office :)

  • @tigerik actually lahm means meat

  • @tigerik -.-

lahm means meat, and ajeen is dough

  • @tigerik In holland it's also called turkish pizza, never have I seen it's been called arabic pizza, probably because the arabics are all too lazy to work and only come to holland so they can go into wellfare. While the turkish population here in holland have 1000's of restaurants, clothing stores and actually become succesful, the arabic population only goes to the mosque every day and sit at the park all day! Sorry if that sounded rascist. but it's true. it's called turkish pizza =P

  • @Tottiboy190

Hi tottiboy, I not talking about what it calls, if that is the case, here in Los Angeles actually we call it Armenian pizza :) since there is a lot of Armenians and we have soooooooo many Armenian restaurants Los Angeles, is known as Armenian Pizza :) what I'm saying is that lahmacun=bread meat is Arabic originally came from arabs that is all :) Now lets all of us enjoy our lahmacuns :) cheers :) :)

  • @tigerik The name is Arabic because Ottoman turkish was influenced by it just like we had a lot of Persian words. The dish is 100% Turkish.

Besides what's your point... we all know Turks make it the best lol

  • @tigerik its called in arabic "laham-be-ajeen" and laham=meat and ajeen=dough, not the oposite !!! its a shared recipe between arabs and turks and each have a different version of it but equally tasty in my opinion :)

  • @Ga7atTown that is what i wrote lahm=meet ad ajieen=dough!!! and of course us Armenians added more yummy touch and now it is known in Los Angeles Armenian Pizza and everyone lovessssss it :) so we all love lahmajun.

  • @Ga7atTown im sorry you are right i wrote it opposite way :)

  • that is definetly not lahmacun.

  • @imnefb I love negative people, why not make a constuctive comment like other people? You deprived of love or something?

  • Man nothing like someone that does not cook good... when making dough, the salt stops the rising, better use a teaspoon sugar, which feeds the yeast, and the salt is added into the flour once you are ready to mix all the ingredients, you should cook your onions first then add your lamb with spices mixed in before cooking then you get a much nicer taste to the meat.. cooking the meat without gives very bland taste. Then again it is an English adaptation, so what would anyone expect hehe

  • @jk4bs True true, we are known in england only to cook by making things plain and simple (and boring), so yeah, this was a good effort. Cem should've known better, but I finally went to turkey last month and realise that Lahmacun is not anything like this!

  • that guys isnt a fatboy hes a white boy... just pointing out the obvious

  • @gooodlink I used to be obesely fat, hence the name, but thanks for that comment, put a smile on my face :)

  • Comment removed

  • I do it quite differently to this (and I like it) but I'll give your way a try. Nice video!

  • give these guys a break. this may be sexist but you can't generally find a young guy that would even know how to fry an onion let alone makehomemade dough. Tebrikler! :)

  • This is not lahmacun. I'm Turkish. Believe me.

  • BU SARAY SARMA BE

  • Haha, silly people, lahmacun is part of pretty much all Near and Middle Eastern cuisine, and it's kind of impossible to prove where it originated from, since it's so widespread. I'd guess it originated from or near some Arab culture, because of the name, but seriously, it's not worth getting all upset about!

Though, I've got to say, I've never seen lahmacun made this way before O.o Where's the oven? And cooking the meat and bread separately? Odd :P

  • use mixer next time

  • this is 100% NOT a traditional lahmacun. aminisa sokiyim!

  • are you kidding me!?! this is defenetly NOT LAHMACUN!

  • ulan zirt sen ne anlarsin

  • what kınd of lahmcun ıs ı bro? :)))

  • Comment removed

  • this isnt a lahmacun , is dürüm

  • What is this fake shit? This comes not even close to Lahmacun.

  • 2:05 it looks like he wanne destroy his kitchen XD

  • @33rdSniper Kitchen was in tact.

  • its armenian

  • are you stupid????what is armenian?you mean the lahmacun????its turkish my friend.

  • famously known Turkish receipe originally Arab, Lahmacun (Lahma bel Ajeen)= meat with dough.

Arabic way to do it small round pieces, the Turkish way is to make big pieces similar to pizza but nicer(my opinion), what those guys are doing is nothing related to Lahmacun apart from the good dough he made.

  • @driberif1222 yes, lahmacun and kebap are originally arab

  • the word kebap is arab but you got different kebaps doner kebap and adana kebab are from turkey and other turkic countries lahmacun is maybe arab but the turks make it very different than the arabs do search for the arabs pizza and for the turkish pizza the turks make it way way better

  • and if it mean meat with dough in arab than lahmacun is something else cause we got etli ekmek(turkic) also and that means meat with dough so that are 2 different pizzas

  • It's not Armenian nor Turkish, it is Arabic food But all of us (armenians, azeries, arabs and turkes) make it

  • @titanar83 döner kebab and all that stuff is originally arabic but who makes it better??the turks.spaghetti is originally from china.but who makes it better?italians.

  • kıymalı börek gibi bişe oldu...

    teşekkürler

  • the best lahmacun is making in erzurum zones of turkey :D i miss to eat lahmacun :( i have not eat lahmacun for 2 years :( :(

  • OMG this has nothing to do with Lahmacun. . .

    I'd say that's a wrap

  • İ REALLY LOVE THE LAHMACUN + COCO COLA lol

  • Its actually orgnially Arab. Lahmacun, Lahmajoun, or lahm bi'ajīn (From Arabicلحم بعجين lahm bi'ajīn, "meat with dough")

  • LOL you guys are funny, been reading some of the comments and I like so wonder what they are writing.

Let me guess : fake fake fake?

Well I made it today just like you guys did and I DO KNOW how the "original" taste and it was pretty good!

  • This is the fakest lahmacun I have ever seen in my life. I am Turkish and I can tell you that this is not called Lahmacun, it has nothing to do with it. But I think these two bachelors made it their quick version of it. Hey if it tastes good you can call it anything you want..but with all respect to the turkish cusine, the real lahmacun is not made this way...The Turkish guy was very handsome by the way ;)

  • I thought lahmacun was Syrian (?)

  • nope turkish

  • you guys are so sweet translating Turkish comments into English, which are, if you ask me, a little bit harsh.

I apologise on my friend's behalf :) Granted this is not the lahmacun, perhaps change the title to "Turkish Durum" but seriously the video was entertaining and very very nice. ellerinize saglik. You two should make another video :)

  • but then everyone would come here and say "this is not a dürüm" :D

  • no, I can vouch for it, it is a dürüm" or burrito :)

again, the intent was innocent and cute and we thank you for the video of a "dürüm" :)

  • you two are great and look good in the kitchen :) I watched the show with a smile on my face

I am TURKISH and I can honestly say that's NOT lahmacun. Maybe "durum" which is basically TUrkish burrito.

Dough need to be softer, mix is missing lots of ingredients and you spread the mix onto bread BEFORE COOKING IT.

turkishcookingclass(dot)com has a great lahmacun recipe, you should try it that way too :) thank you for sharing the video, it's great :) afiyet olsun

  • not the genuine tho, it's missing the chopped parsley and tomato paste in the meat mixture. Also you don't serve it wrapped, the toppings are smothered on the surface of the bread and the eater would put his/her choice of salad with a crush of lemmon and roll it up to eat.

  • lol, i love it :))

  • super yaaa omrum de ilk defa boyle bir lahmacun yapimi seyrettim :D bu arada once sogani kavurun sonra kiymayi ekleyin ;)

  • Translation:

super, this is the first time i've seen someone make lahmacun like this. The next time, fry the onions and then add the mince.

  • hmm=)

  • ha ha.

  • ooooppppppppppssssssssss spelling mistake:S:D not on me one for me:D

  • We are able to make this for you. For a charge of £1000 (minimum daily charge) plus you'll need to provide a kitchen with all the required equipment, pay travelling expenses and provide a minimum of a four star hotel to stay in the night before. International bookings require minimum of 2 extra days to cover travelling plus the additional hotel nights. I think that's got everything covered :-)

If you can eat lahmucun everyday for a week, maybe we can give you a discount on the daily charge.

  • u give me £1000 i wont even eat the lahmacun u make:D

  • hmm i thought so:D do u mind making on for me then:P

  • can i just ask:)) did u eat that:D

  • Yes, of course, it was very nice :p

  • Bu ne ya, böyle lahmacun mu olurmus be, yaptigin durum senin. milleti ne kandiriyon

  • Translation:

What is this! You call this lahmacun? Why are you fooling people into thinking this is lahmacun.

  • Isn't the meat suppose to be cook on the dough, like in the oven. No disrespect, but that is more like a buritto. The meat and dough are suppose to be raw and they bake in the oven. Oh well, i guess there are many versions. Well done guys.
