  • I like this clip as it's not the over dubbed version the always roll out whenever Quo have a DVD comp out...... it's about time Quo management got their backsides into gear and release all these tracks from the Marquee gig !!!!

  • I love all that denium. Men in blue jeans is always sexy. :)

  • Was watching these videos after an excessive night at 3 in the morning, and now again worse for wear, but still works for me! It's well filmed and there must be a decent soundboard of this, maybe stereo or otherwise, so wondering if there's enough for a DVD. Would definitely buy that one.

  • Did not recognize it at first but after the first notes I knew, it was still somewhere in my brain and I still love it

  • Mid to late 70's, found the piledriver cassette quite my mistake, and loved it... still to this day! they might be older now, but i Would LOVE to see them tour Canada!

(whatever you want, in the army now, oder Rocking all over the world) extrem slapper Rock für ganz alte Semester.

  • Status Quo at their best, for me this is their second best song behind Down Down, gotta love the Quo:-))))))))))))))

  • QUO ROCKNFUCKINROLL

  • John's thumping the drums! Great live gig! No one could ever perform like Quo in the early days.

  • Great clip. I like the way Alan fluffs a little at 1:00 (thinking he has to play the bridge to the solo which comes a verse later...) and Francis almost forgets the text at 2:56 and smirking at Rick :-) Great band, will always be a favourite, no matter what line-up.

  • Sorry, meant 2:16 for Francis

  • Ja,so kennt mas sie.----Hammer Titel---

  • Ja,so kenne ich sie.----Hammer Titel---

  • QUO OH OH OH OH

  • Superb!! Anyone who mocks these guys and calls then 3 chord wonders are fukin idiots. Theres plenty of bigger name bands that wont appear on the same bill as Quo. Quo grab the crowd and make them rock. Ace stuff.

  • its about time the quo management released the whole show on DVD, they are ace even now, but not so awesomely raw like this.....this is pure heaven kik ass rock.... it just says " eer get holda this!!" ave it !

And to the comment by MacFarline92.... Im working on that time machine.....i wish to I could be 18 from 1970 - 75/76 how cool would that be eh !

  • Das wird niemals zu toppen sein.

  • I heard a long time ago that this was Prince Chuck's favourite band. He certainly has the ears for it. Maybe he wasn't all that square after all.

  • Gold

  • Proper quo!

  • they are still awesome today imo, saw them at liverpool this year, go and see them you wont be dissappointed!

  • just fantastic. .their groove @ 3:18 is so tastey...thank you big time.

  • Vertigo swirl and my first guitar riff on my nylon guitar! bostin!

  • love it! i've seen this clip so many times... but always without Rossi's intro - Go go go we're Status Quo! where did you get it from??

  • this is greate I listened to this songs back in the seveties when I grew up in sweden , My older brothers likedboring groups like Rare Earth and Moody blues, but I prefered pure hard simple rock music like this

  • ohhh...... I have this vinyl!!!!! :)

  • The Dog of Two Heads Bollocks. They are the fucking Greatest.

  • I'd say he was the best drummer of them all! He had an energy and a strength in his playing that no one else ever came close to. Of course, Charlie Watts is always... Charlie Watts (never missed a beat!) , but he lacked John's incredible force. (IMHO)

  • both great drummers, but what about Def Leppard's Rick Allen? To not only survive a life-threatening car crash but to carry on and help make arguably the best rock album ever (Hysteria) is nothing short of amazing.

Roger Taylor, Neil Peart, Phil Gould and Billy Cobham are all fantastic drummers too.

  • When Status Quo lost Alan Lancaster, their original bassist, they lost a lot of their energy.

  • good energy by the drummer!! wish it was like this today...

  • that is what quo shuld have kept.

  • brill!! anyone spot the mistake by alan at 1:00?

  • Yes, he used more than one string.

  • @ricko3k LOL

  • I never realised before that Rick used to play an SG. I was also surprised to see a Fender Mustang bass. Great song!

  • @junkers290 he said he loves the tone on the SG Junior but it's not up to all that gigging and his style of rhythm guitar . Great sound - what happened to them ?

  • @squeakyadam I had an SG which didn't like anything other than 09's never stayed in tune! Got a strat instead to go with my much abused Ibanez Blazer with tele pick ups on and that takes 11's and my right arm abuse!

  • nice old footage great to see them rockin' so hard that's very cool!

  • Feel Lancasters bass through your chest,

Play it right and you will!

    Superb...

  • Fabulous! I was lucky enough to see them back then and they really were magnificent. They still are. Best band in the world ever ever ever....

  • this fucking rocks quo at the best time the 70s

  • Bloody 21, god wish I could time travel and see Quo in their prime :(

  • @MacFarlane92 i was lucky enough 2 see them in there prime.. much better than 2 day.. tho i stil love the old gits lol

  • it;s refreshing to hear a young person comment objectively on the subject , nice one rockstar i was pleasantly surprised how much i enjoyed their show recently , but hell it's not like this scorching stuff . cheers guys

  • oh man , rockets along like a steam train - classic rock n roll

  • this kicks serious arse! wish more footage from this marquee 1972 gig would surface.

  • I would have loved to see them back in there true colours like in this video. I've just turned 17 and now only get to see Quo as they are now. which is ok, don't get me wrong they are excellent now, but you can't been a bit of Classic Quo. LONG LIVE QUO!

  • i saw them in 77 and 04 , the same ! boogie as ever !^^

  • Paddy your talking shite my mate.

  • No he doesn't.

  • @452319

Er read the other comments.... Quo lost it after 77 when they got others to produce them, they blanded out, it's not up for debate - shame you missed their peak, don't be bitter mate!

  • Ah Quo as you like to remember them - after Blue For You their last great album they were pants, with a couple of odd exceptions - the awful Rocking All Over The World cover they did (the Fogerty original wasn't much better) was when they started losing their rawness and vitality

  • Jesus!

Much Better than the original Single!

  • rick frame nuff cog

    amazing

  • dont you mean Rick Frame Nuff and Spud ;)

  • yeah i know

i was thinking of the bob young poem on the back of ma kelly for some reason

    rick frame nuff cog lib

    mabel no label etc

course by this time 'libby' had left...

  • Ok Your Forgiven ;). What id reallylike to know is though. This Video was redubbed with the studio version way back on the RTTY video. and later on the XSAA DVD why? This is fantastic stuff. and both those releases had live songs on them ie Caroline and Down Down from the NEC in 1982

  • just class!!

  • Is this the best rock band ever or what?

  • It sure as hell is!!!

    Long live QUO!!!!!!

Hope you all enjoy the video-clips.

    Teleboogie

  • @hayzeebloke no contest.. this is a quo classic.. bring bk alan and john

  • Why does it look like Frame scratches his top mic in this?

  • if alan lancaster jc were back the quo would be even better and sound better get rinho out to fuck rossie and take note the fans want lancaster and jc back
