highways would just make the traffic worse and make the city worse. public transportation is the way to go and i think that's what vancouver is trying to support. Good for the city planners!
I live in Victoria. I don't really consider Whistler and Tofino to be remotely part of Vancouver. So why include it in the documentary about Vancouver?
and u know there will be those who can't speak proper english,,, it is not their fault,,, u cant expect them to speak english like you who was raised in an english speaking country right? so,,, i wish that.. if u do meet those foreigners in the futre,,,, try to help them,, and welcome them,,, you will make your hometown even more amazing as they feel pleased ^-^
ok, I can forgive broken english, but those people who have lived in canada for 20 years and still can not hold a proper conversation without using their children as translators are very difficult to deal with.
there are some foreigners who dont even understand you when you ask "what is the time". they stare blankly and continue walking past.
exceptional beauty ,every part of canada is great, spent a month in vancouver and victoria island must try the whistler train and the rocky mounteneer,thank you canada/ from a welshman,

Traffic in metro Vancouver is horrible. They need an updated infrastractures, highways and public transportations for the growing populations!
